Nice bin for storage.
The bin is nice. Pretty sturdy, fairly easy to assemble, but you do need 2 people for a couple of the steps. I will say, it is not packaged well. Very little to protect it during shipping. Ours arrived with a corner of the top, dented/smashed and a few scrapes/scratches. Of course it would have to be a front corner that is smashed, so it’s really noticeable. But we didn’t want to go through the hassle of repacking it and shipping it back, so we are going to live with it like that. The shelf inside is a nice feature, but if you place it on the highest area to set it, to fit larger items on the bottom like a propane tank, any weight on the front area of the shelf makes it tip forward. But we can deal with that too. My husband will figure out how to secure the shelf better when it isn’t so hot out. Overall, it pretty decent and looks nice. Not sure if water will get in during a Florida storm. Will update review after a few weeks. Price point is ok for what it is.

Well-engineered, sturdy, roomy, dry, attractive, standard parts for easy assembly
I kept marveling at how thought-out and well-engineered this was as we assembled it. Not just the efficiency of materials, but the fact that all the parts, including screws, are STANDARD, so you don’t have to go pawing through a pile of different-sized screws to find the ones for Part A and Part B and Part C. That was brilliant! It took a bit longer than expected to assemble because we had to figure a few things out from the diagrams (mainly how the edges fit together); the instructions could use actual written directions vs. pictures. We have had it for about two months now through vicious rain and windstorms and everything inside has stayed cozy dry.I wanted this one because it was narrow enough not to take up too much space on the deck, tall enough to store deck furniture pillows and 5-gallon buckets of garden supplies, and with a top that did NOT lift so we could use it as a working surface. While the top is slightly curved to let rainwater roll off, it isn’t so curved that you can’s put a water bottle or other items on there securely. The top was strong enough to put a 62” TV on it for an outdoor (Covid-safe) viewing event. The doors stay shut with a push and a click. It looks really nice, too!

Looks great but not so great instructions.
Check inside dims before buying! Rubbermaid can’t seem to write simple instructions or provide all the dims. The product really isn’t that complicated to put together but Rubbermaid lacks common sense when it comes to assembling procedures. 1. Make sure that you put it together as near to site as possible and that you’re working on a level area. 2. Level the final site as best as possible, otherwise you’ll have trouble with the doors. 3. Sort out the screws because Rubbermaid doesn’t label them. (The plastic components stamped but difficult to read). This is sort of a 2nd review because I purchased another cabinet shortly after. Same comments as above another except another caution. I noticed the heat causes what I think and hope is a temporary warping on the tops. It seems to return to normal afterwards but I’m worried that it may be permanent at some point so I’ll write to Rubbermaid. The top is sturdy but has very thin sections. Also, those avoidable scratches that everyone talks about are probably due to poor packaging by the Mfr. I will accept those scratches because I’m confident they can be buffed out with some polish however warpage is another story.

Great Storage Cabinet / Amoire
This is a great storage cabinet / armoire. I am using it on my patio to store my outdoor dining stuff - plates, cups, silverware and paper fire logs, etc. The cabinet is very sturdy, spacious and it should hold up well against the elements (I have it under a covered portion of the patio). The assembly was fairly straight forward and simple. The real key is to use a punch or sharp object as a starter for the screws. Once started, they go right in. The design is not really rattan, but it has a plastic rattan design. I was expected mor of a rattan look, but am not disappointed with that aspect. The fact that this is a Rubbermaid Product puts me totally at ease with the long-term durability of this product.

Better than I expected
While I had taken measurements to make sure it would fit where I needed it, it still surprised me how big it was. There is alot of space in this cabinet! I wouldn't consider this a one person job of assembling it. Wife was in charge of the directions, it took my son and me both to fit the panels and hold them in place to get the screws exactly where they needed to be. The screws used for assembly are pointed but I had difficulty getting them started. I used an awl to punch out all the screw holes after the first one. Also started out with a screwdriver but quickly reached for the cordless drill/driver. Set the clutch on a lower torque setting. Fastening the top was probably the most difficult because I needed someone pushing down on the top while I put the screws in from the inside at an angle. Assembly would have been difficult if I had not had some extra help and a cordless drill. Overall very satisfied with this cabinet. Seems very sturdy.

No parts, Poor customer service
ARRGH!Just received the Rubbermaid Storage Cabinet. It came with the panels and an empty box that was apparently supposed to contain all the parts necessary for assembly. No problems I thought. We'll call customer service. Sorry. Only 9-5 EST. And when you finally get them on the phone? 20 minutes of runaround. They had to have a picture of an empty box to prove the box was empty. REALLY!?! The entire phone call 35 minutes without any help. Then the company rep wanted more photos and paperwork.THEY FAILED TO DO THEIR WORK SO NOW I'M SUPPOSED TO WORK FOR THEM FOR FREE! I don't mind assembling things as an unpaid worker for these companies, but get real Rubbermaid!!!

Very nice looking and sturdy
We ended up with two of these to store all the dishes, placemats and other items that we use for entertaining in our pool gazebo. Very sturdy and a nice big area on top that can be used for coolers, or food set up. Easy to put together!
