When reading the list of supplies for a class I had signed up to take at the Houston Quilt Festival, I saw the teacher had recommended these scissors. I decided to order them, didn't use until I took the class and immediately fell in love. They sit next to my sewing machine at all times unless I'm using them. They fit my large hand very well, they are super sharp and they are just the right length to cut thread, small cuts of fabric and are great for clipping curves in seams and getting into tight places. I love the point and did I mention how sharp these scissors are? I now have two pair and I bought a pair for my daughter and her best friend. They are wonderful and I love love love them.

These scissors are a bit expensive, but they're great for cutting fabric for applique. They are very sharp, and the serrated edge keeps the fabric from slipping when you're cutting around corners or tight spaces. Be sure you have the serrated edge above the fabric when you're doing precision cutting, and behind it if you need a longer, straight cut.

Excellent for cutting thread and especially great for cutting applique shapes. Well made. Comfortable to use. Highly recommend!

I had been looking for another pair of scissors like this after the pair l had for years unexpectedly broke! l was so glad to find this, that l bought two! It’s great for hand sewing and with the large handles, it is easy to hold and use and l got them at a great price!

I love these scissors! I need to cut tiny pieces of felt for delicate ornaments and these are superior to any other brand. Ultra precise. Worth every penny.

These scissors a a trimmed down (haha) version of the Karen Kay Buckley purple-handled scissors. They are my most used scissors because of the size and the incredibly soft points. Not too big, not too small: JUST RIGHT! Get them all. You will be glad you did.

I make a lot of appliques for quilting, and these are the best scissors I've found for cutting the pieces. The slightly serrated edges grip the fabric, they easily cut to the very tip, and they are not too tight to squeeze which greatly reduces hand fatigue. I highly recommend these to all my quilting friends and to you all too.

I have been quilting for about 2 years. I have a few pairs of other scissors...Gingher, Fiskars, etc. These beat those six ways to Sunday. They are razor sharp and the serrated edge makes all the difference. Sometimes when I am cutting small pieces of fabric, the other brands seem to push the fabric away as I'm trying to cut. Because of the serrated edge on the Karen Buckley scissors, they grab onto the fabric so I can get a nice straight cut. The handles are super comfortable with the wide openings. I have a 4 inch pair of Gingher's that my finger and thumb are always getting stuck in! And they have a super fine point that makes getting around curves and into corners a breeze. I shopped around and Amazon had the best price. I'm back to order more of the Karen Buckley in different sizes.
