Exactly what I was looking for
I had been looking for an item like this for a long time; and I am so glad that I have found it. I do a lot of cooking and when I have to use my cast iron skillet for the best cooking using the finished oil is always a problem as to what am I to do with the used oil. I don't have a grease trap to throw it in to be carted away and I didn't want to throw it in my compost pile. The Grease Grabber solved all of my problems.

A fabulous product, but pricey!
This is a great product! I saw something similar for the very first time just a few months ago, on a Korean You Tube cooking channel that I watch, and went looking for it here in the U.S. Hubby and I do a lot of frying, and a fair amount of deep frying. We are quite eco conscious, and reuse the oil, but when it comes time to dispose of it there is a real problem. What do you do with a couple of quarts of accumulated used oil? Our waste management company wants me to take it physically to a disposal site, miles away. Really? That is unrealistic. This product, added to cooking oil, solidifies it to the point where it can be tossed in the trash without leaking or dripping. It is wonderful! I love it! I wish I could afford to purchase it to use all the time, but after my curiosity was satisfied, I realized that I simply cannot afford it. The cost is about $1 per cup of oil. Used occasionally, it would be manageable, but we are retirees on a very small, fixed income, and the cost would be prohibitive. Darn! But I do recommend it highly if you can afford it. It makes disposal of cooking oil very easy and environmentally safe.

Hot Damn
Where has this been my entire life?! No more trying to figure out how to dispose of oil. Just a couple small scoops of this powder (scoop included which is a nice bonus) and your entire pot will solidify! I was able to flip my pan upside down above the garbage can and it all slid out with ease. This product is a life and time saver !

Works great, but not economical
I bought to make air fryer cleanup easier. Does what it suppose to do, but you have to use too much if you cook a lot of food that leave grease behind.

Didn't work as demonstrated
Messy. Although this may work mine was a disaster. It took the whole bag so it is not cost effective for me. It may solidify the fat but it doesn't solidify any non fat liquid. It won't perform like the demo unless it is all grease. I can achieve the same result by allowing it to cool and letting the grease solidify.

IT WORKS!!!
This is a game changer for me. I love it and easy to use and dispose of. Next up grease from deep fryer.

Worked as advertised.
I had old oil from a fry daddy that I combined with oil inside the fryer. This hardened all of it. I was relieved to get rid of this old oil.

Solidifies Oil, but Works ONLY ON HOT OIL!
The media could not be loaded. My apologies for the long video. As much as I hate watching long video clips myself, I just took the chance because I wanted to show how this works. I'll cut everything and get to the point. THIS ONLY WORKS ON HOT OIL. Now, I sometimes reuse the oil, so I don't get rid of it right away. Of course I strain the food particles first.I tried this Grease Grabber on cold oil that has been sitting in the pan for weeks. Nothing happened. That is why you need to read the instructions. Also, there is a scoop buried inside and it's not even a big bag. This scoop is about half a cup size, and the bag has 12 scoops worth of the Grease Grabber. 1 scoop to solidify 1 cup of oil. The contents are some kind of flaky stuff, and there is no information of what it's made from, which I find odd.I wanted to try this out because I am having trouble getting rid of cooking oil. Since, I live in a condo, it is considered a commercial place not a residential area. If you live in a house, you can just label it with your name and address and they collect it. The recycling and transfer station doesn't take it either. So, I'm stuck here with a gallon of cooking oil.Anyway, this works like putting kitty litter in cans of paint. I'm giving this 4 stars.
