Very sturdy tubing... steel wire in the white spiral for strengh, but fits VERY snugly over hose barbs.
Very sturdy tubing... steel wire in the white spiral for strengh, but fits VERY snugly over hose barbs. Used this to build a ballast system for my boat. Definitely need a heat gun to get this over the 1-1/2 inch barbed fittings & you definitely need to be patient. If you don't heat the hose enough when stretching it over the barbs, the clear will "rip" between the white reinforcement cords. If you heat it too much, it gets floppy & looses its shape entirely.... but I am quite pleased with the end result.
