The VFD controller doesn't even have connections for the wires required for 220 volts. It does come with a 110v US plug, but even that's missing the ground wire. The motor doesn't run on 110 volts so there's no way the combination is usable. Tech support never replied to my inquiries. I would give it zero stars if that were an option. I wasted my money so you don't have to.

The Hammer / Felder spindle (don't get me started) died after <50 hours, their customer service Europe and US was NO help. A new replacement from them cost north of $1,000! This one has more power, far quieter, and although not a bolt-on replacement ( a little metal cutting and drill and tap 8 holes was about it. Electricals were easy too, but I can't control within the software, but use the VFD controller works fine for me.

I received it quickly, packed in good condition. I worked in wood carving for 1 whole day, nonstop without overheating. I also worked in aluminum, its performance is also very well. Overall, it is much better than I expected on this price. Quiet, Stong , low runout, I love it!

Some of the screws were striped that held the electrical cover on and I had to use helicoils to repair them. The mounting dimensions are not what is listed in the image associated with the add and the screw terminals for the VFD were lose inside the VFD and I had to disassemble it to fetch the screws that fell inside during shipping. The collet that shipped with the spindle was a 6mm collet and the bits that it came with are 3mm so there is that too. These are the kinds of things I would expect at this price range though. It did function as intended which is why it retains a 4 star review. Just know you get what you pay for and at this price there will be things you need to fix.

VFD does not support the spindle when configured with the recommended parameter values. I have wasted 3 day on this and have just decided to yank it off and replace it with a brand I have had better success with. You will receive ZERO product support after purchase so save yourself the headache and just buy a different brand.

The spindle showed up and there was no VFD in the box. Spindle and wires only.
