I ordered this for my husband as a gift for our 22nd wedding anniversary. The pictures online don't really catpture the gorgeous tones of the piece itself or the case. He was so thrilled with this gift, as was I. It was exactly what I had hoped it would be when it arrived, and more. The compass was compactly wrapped and stored within a few layers of protective bubble wrap and plastic within the shipping box itself. Nothing had moved during the shipping. The craftmanship of the case and the compass were divine without any marks or scratches. The detailing and the aging on the pieces is beautiful. The top of the compass opens easily and the compass works perfectly. My husband was thrilled not only with the gift itself but is really excited over the workmanship of the pieces both the case and the compass. The compass also came with a note letting us know this is small company and to let them know if we ran into any issues with their product. I wanted to leave a review as it is the very opposite of "issues" and instead I received a product that was clearly made with care and skill, packed and shipped with care and properly handled, and wanted to leave a proper review for a small business doing an amzing job who gave my husband and I such great job with this small object of art. Compass was everything I wanted. Looks awesome and works as a compass should. Will make an great gift.

I was very pleased with the compass and leather case. It looks much better in person than in the picture. The perfect gift for our 7th anniversary. It was packaged nicely as well. I would definitely buy from this company again, and refer them to my friends as well.

The smell from the case was not good, however, I've had a dryer sheet inside of it since it arrived. I will give it to my husband for our anniversary. Nice sentimental gift and seems like good quality. I don't know if the compass actually works. It seems like it may be a little off. I have my husband check it when I give it to him, although I don't think he will get lost and need it but will like what it says. Looks very nice.

The quality of the workmanship was more than I expected and for the price and quality-I was well pleased.I would suggestive sell to others-looking for a personal gift that encourages balance and direction in a friends life.

An absolutely amazing item! Ordered for my husband for our 47th wedding anniversary. The company even sent a free hourglass keychain (thank you so much) that I included in as part of the gift to him, telling him that time has, and is, passing quickly and that we must treasure our time together. My husband was very touched by both the compass and the keychain. I would definitely order again and I recommend this small company highly.

This is a beautiful piece so I’m giving it 3 stars over all. The compass itself wasn’t working when we took it out of the package but since it was easily fixed I decided to keep it instead of returning. The accuracy is a bit off but this was bought as decoration so the compass being accurate isn’t such a big deal to me.
