Amazing hoover
I treated myself to this and am not disappointed. I had a larger cylinder shark hoover prior to this one which had seen better days It is absolutely fabulous, better than my other one and it's also easier to store as it folds in half. This one has hair wrap technology and is so much better than one that doesn't as you don't have to de hair the rollers! It is lightweight but top heavy because that is where the motor is so It won't stand up on its own, so don't expect It to. It is noisier than my other hoover however it's not the motor it is the rotating bits in the floor attachment. Easy to use, and manoeuvre about. There are two suction levels and different floor setting, one for carpet one for hard floors both these settings are on the top of the stick. There are three little light bars on it to show how much power is left. The instructions recommend that you run the battery flat before recharging to "condition" the battery and from this discharged state it only takes about two and a half hours to fully recharge. I got this on sale and highly recommend it

Excellent product
Really impressed so far. We use it on our hard floor and it is light and easy to use. Can’t comment too much on how good it would be on carpet but suspect it’d be pretty good.Ideal for having a quick clean up and battery life seems ok.

Great cordless cleaner
At the risk of committing heresy, I bought this to replace my Henry vacuum cleaner. Yes, I know most people see Henry as the king of the cleaners (and it's true, his suction is unrivalled), but I was really fed up of trailing the hefty Henry and his cord around the house, frequently getting held up by him falling over / getting his cord stuck on something. So when this Shark came up on special offer and interest-free payments, I took the plunge. And I'm very glad that I did. I totally expected the suction to be inferior to Henry's (it is a cordless, after all), but there are so many advantages:• The battery life is more than adequate – I can easily clean my cottage on one charge.• The system for switching the different parts is simple and easy – done in seconds – as is the flexi option for cleaning under sofas, etc.• It's very easy to clean – the tank for the dust (which is admittedly quite small – I often have to empty it twice during a whole-house clean) is quick and surprisingly satisfying to empty, and when the cleaner gets blocked (which it does quite a lot, as we have four dogs!), it's really easy to unblock.• It's very manoeuvrable – the head swivels and has a useful light on it, and it can get into most nooks and crannies. I tend to carry the nozzle tool with me and just quickly stick it on for the hard-to-get places.• It has a boost function for extra suction when required (but this really drains the battery quickly). The only disadvantages that I've come across are that it does block easily (but perhaps that was because it was faced with a gargantuan task the first few times, as I hadn't been hoovering as much as I should have because of my fraught relationship with Henry) and that the 'hard floor' setting doesn't really cut the mustard – I use the carpet setting for all the floors. The main part of the cleaner is also quite heavy, and while this isn't a problem for normal vacuuming, if you want to remove things above shoulder height or clean curtains, it's only possible for a few minutes (for me anyway ... perhaps I might manage longer if I worked out).So although I wouldn't say I was in love with my Shark, I'd say we are definitely very good friends. And Henry is in the Cupboard of Shame.

Quality
My first Shark purchase and was for my elderly mother. It arrived on time and when I was unpacking it ( very well packaged) I was impressed by the quality. Each part felt well made with a bit of weight and slotted together perfectly.Much better that her previous Dyson. Works well with simple controls, easy process to empty dirt collected, adequate suction and great fold away design so it is stored in cupboard instead of having to be wall mounted as other similar stick hoovers.Well done Shark, so far I'm very impressed.

Good Product
I am pleased with this vacuum cleaner. It is easy to use and works well on all surfaces. I particularly like not having to drag an electric lead around. The charge lasts for an adequate time for my house. It was heavier than I thought it would be so I had to get used to having the motor at the top of the stick. It lifts the dog hairs and doesn’t get blocked like my old vacuum.

Excellent quality hoover and great value
Went from a Henry to this and the convenient form factor, weight and mobility of this compared to the Henry is insane. With two messy kids this had made my life noticably better because I can keep the house cleaner with less effort. It feels very good quality too as do the attachments. And the fact I can use it to clean my car with the short attachments means it's actually replacing two hoovers for me. The only thing I would suggest is an improvement on the battery indicatory. Currently you just have three small white lights in a line. These are subtle so it's easy to not notice when it's low. Also three lights is not very accurate. A beep when at 10% or something would be really useful I think to stop me putting it away at 8% charge without noticing to charge it. Also when pulling it towards you, due to the brush configuration on the bottom, it just pulls large bits of dirt towards you and doesn't pick them up. A bit annoying and could probably be improved. But overall I would recommend this in a heart beat.

The best lightweight vacuum cleaner
We love this machine. It is lightweight easy to use around the house, Motorhome and car. It cleans up well, is easy to empty and keep clean. I would recommend removing the plate underneath and cleaning behind the brushes regularly as dust collects there. If you keep it clean it is a fabulous bit of kit
