These things are solid.
These are made with enough material to easily make two good spoons. They are very solid and feel much more expensive than they are.

This spoon does exactly what it was advertised to do.
I love these spoons. As I said in the headline, this spoon does exactly what it was advertised to do. My husband uses the Knork (fork/knife) exclusively. The spoon just added to his joy.

Description seriously lacking
About the only thing I liked about these is the wide flat area at the neck of the spoon to give your fingers a decent grip. However the angle of that grip places the end of the spoon in the middle of my palm so it's just sort of floating there rather than resting on the edge of my palm for a better grip. The serrated edge of the spoon is also lacking, it's not serrated at the tip of the spoon. It really needs to be in order to make the initial cut into the fruit. The spoon itself is also a bit too thick, a thinner spoon cuts through much better than a thick one.But the biggest issue I had with these spoons is sorely lacking in there description here. Apparently, according to a piece of paper that came with the spoons, you can't really wash them in the dishwasher. Technically you can but they have many more limitations on dishwashing use than typical silverware, so that it's clear they aren't stainless. The piece of paper reads:"CARE AND USE INSTRUCTIONSSimply wash by hand in hot water, or by dishwasher using a mild detergent. DO NOT USE ANY DETERGENT WITH LEMON ADDED as this may cause corrosion. For best results do not leave flatware soaking in water for long periods of time. Dry promptly after hand or dishwasher cleaning."I don't know about everyone else but I don't use a "mild detergent" in my dishwasher, not even sure there is such a thing. I also don't go running into the kitchen as soon as the dishwasher is done to get stuff out to make sure it's dry. Plus I assume it's the acidity in lemon that could cause corrosion. HELLO these are grapefruit spoons, grapefruit is just as acidic as lemons. I'm returning these.
