Inside pouch expired 2 years before the date on the outside pouch
The outside says it hasn't expired yet but the pouch of peanut butter on the inside says it expired 2 years ago. It also didn't rehydrate well at all, very soupy. Heated it up again hoping a little heat would help but it didn't do anything.

One of My Favorites!
I always take one with on every trip to the BWCAW as a backup food option.

Don't keep it forever
I bought this in 2020 for emergency rations, and am eating it in 2024. Sorta forgot I had it. It's darker than other pictures I've seen and it tastes old. I let it sit for 20 min and the chicken is spongey and a bit powdery. I think the peanut butter and lime would have tasted awesome if I'd eaten it sooner. Having trouble uploading the picture, sorry.
