At this price, I wasn't sure what to expect. This kit ended up being a pleasant surprise! It was purchased for my teenage daughter who wanted to give jewellery making a try without making a big investment. This fulfilled what she was looking for. The kit comes with everything you need to get started. There's a lovely selection of beads, findings, a bag, tools, and an instruction book. The selection of beads are quite nice for a beginner. There are multiple shapes and colours to choose from. The tools aren't top quality, but they will definitely last a beginner for some time. The book has easy to follow instructions so that the recipient can quickly get started on projects. I highly recommend for anyone starting out.

I have used this kit a lot, and I thought I would give a good review.The variety of items contained in this kit is excellent. The four types of beads packs included aren't of the best quality, but they are just fine when starting out. The findings are useful and helpful. The plastic wire is okay - I probably won't ever use the wire, but for a teenager the colours might be very nice. The bugle beads included are wonderful - many different colours and they are great to experiment with. The tools are of good quality. The bag is lovely as well.Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend for beginning beading.

A good selection of beads, tools and findings - enough to make several items of jewellery and the beads are very attractive with a good mix of bright and neutral colours with some large metal beads thrown in, so there is plenty of choice. However, do not be fooled by the generous number of beads that appears to be in the bags, as this number includes a lot of tiny, vermicelli-type beads (not sure what their correct name is), of which there is already an abundance in a separate container and I haven't yet found many uses for them. Also, the illustration shows six tools. There is, in fact, only three - two pairs of pliers and one pair of wire cutters. These are the basic tools required and do an adequate job, but the image is deceptive, so I cannot give a 5-star rating.

this was delivered promptly and very well packaged. It has everything you need to get you started and is of very high quality and seems very durable. Also it has a great instruction booklet with step by step instructions on how to make several items including earings and the earings themselves are also included in the pack. it is in a pretty pink box and the pliers you get are of a profesional quality. It would be good for beginners and more experiences users all you need is patience and time. i bought this for my teenage daughter who's 15 and is very artistic so should provide hours of fun i would recommend this to anyone looking for a starter kit.

I like everything about this purchase . Such good value for money but the beads and kit are of good quality with simple easy to read instructions . Good for starting out

Quite honestly I don't think this is the best starter kit for the money, I didn't feel there was really enough sizable beads to make a good start on a project. Granted the beads are very nice but because they're a mix of colours with lots of very tiny beads it's not substantial enough to make anything but earrings, unless you make a very random looking necklace/bracelet. Don't try to open the ring connection on the earrings because they're very brittle and break easily. The Headpins/eye pins are very small (better to get the 2 inch ones because they're easy to cut to size).The clasps look very flimsy and don't spring back into place very well when you open them. It all comes in a cardboard box - be careful when you open it as the wire unfurls. After looking around I think you're probably better off doing a little research on what you need and buying items separately, which is what I did and ended up getting a lot more for the same money.

It arrived in a nice box with pliers, beads, wire, thread, findings and a few bead sets to make too. I was very impressed with the look of it and the ease with which it can be used. A great starter kit for anyone interested in having a go at making their own jewellery.

I bought this kit so that I'd have something to do in the summer holidays - I haven't been disappointed. I've already made multiple pairs of earrings, and am enjoying doing so when I get bored! It is my new hobby. However, there are two small things that has kept this product from getting a 5 star rating - the instruction booklet and some of the findings. The pins in particular, were quite bent, however this is quite easy to undo by using the available pliers. Also, the instruction booklet was very hard to follow. Even though I'm not an adult, I'm pretty sure they would struggle with the meaning of some of the pages - it is supposed to be a starter kit! It also doesn't actually give instructions on how to make the jewellery - just gives you the techniques... so I struggled a bit at first and had to look on Google to find out more. I still haven't figured out how to make professional looking bracelets and necklaces! However, overall it was a good buy and I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to have to buy all the little bits separately.
