Engaging Magnetic Words Set for Key Stage 1 Reception class - Essential 45 Words

I think these are really good and teaches kids to spell,read and write.really enjoy doing this with the kids as my two,four and six year old like them just as much.my six year knows them well as he can spell,write and read so it really was helpful to him as he just went through it as it was nothing.as for my four year he is also getting there and I am well pleased.my two year old he is really trying and I much say good on him because he want so much to follow is brothers.but another good buy.

A little small, however this is a brilliant product. My son is forever saying the words and spelling them out. A welcome addition to his learning.

I got these for my son who is in reception, they are good quality, and seem durable and are the perfect size for his hands. They contain all but 8 of the words he has to learn this year.... the bonus though is he has learnt 8 extra words!! He has a magnet board and loves using them as bricks to make word walls and bridges, so is very familiar with the words all ready. He is beginning to make sentences putting the words together. I would highly recommend these as a fun learning aid to help your child at home!!

This is a really nice product and my 4 year old niece is enjoying making sentences with the new words that she is learning. It has all the basic ones that you would expect with the exception of "with" which I would have liked to have seen included. I'm looking out for more words to buy so that we can leave each other longer messages!

As a primary teacher I find these separate magnetic words very useful. They are more physical for a child to actually handle words not just see them printed, They can be won by the child if they can read them. They can have more words added to make concrete sentences. These are the early words that are not phonetically regular to read or write,

I like that the font used resembles that of the Montessori materials I have come by in my days, and so they are easy for your child to read. Using them as a fridge magnet pastime is proving slightly disappointing though, as the magnets aren't strong enough to adhere properly to the fridge (I tried other metal surfaces that should work, as well). So keep that in mind. They might end up as a box of words to take out and lay out on the table top instead.

These are excellent products for young children who are just beginning to learn to read and write. The basic words in this set will allow them to get a feel for words and sounds and can prove invaluable in their learning. I purchased the phonics set also and they are all over my fridge, my son often plays with them while I am cooking dinner. Really good quality product.

My eldest daughter has severe ADHD, and these have been an invaluable resource for us here at home, to give her extra help! We also use them for our other children too! Good quality and the magnets are brilliant. I bought a small (A4 sized magnetic drywipe board so we can carry it into different rooms for our daughter with ADHD, so we can easily get away from the noise of the other wee ones if needed!)These were delivered promptly too, and so deserve a 5 star rating from me!
