A very useful alien bin lid!
I did my homework on this one - who wouldn't it looks like an alien bin lid but has such rave reviews.I was not disappointed. Two of my children have sensory processing disorders and as such like to spin and rock. I was looking for a product that they could safely use in the home whilst not taking up too much space.This does just that - all of the kids love it - they sit in spin, rock, play computer games, eat their food, stand on it, wear it as a hat - you name it!

A really versatile toy from toddler to mid-upper primary
We have one of these for our son, who is now 7, bought when he was about 3, and it gets a lot of use still. This one was bought for his younger sister when she was 18 months.It might not look like much, but it gets used to carry things, as a turtle shell, a helmet, to balance on, as stepping stones, and most commonly, to sit in and spin around.Especially great for keeping kids moving when you're stuck indoors.

We have used this filled with water, as a turtle shell, as a tunnel for cars and trains, a jumping platform, filled with sand and as a spinner too.Great fun and very sturdy, if a little pricey.

Better for older kids
I brought this for my toddler who has autism as he loves to rock and spin. He actually wasn’t interested in it at all. However, my 10 year old never gets out of it haha. He’s a real fidget so this provides him great fun for ages.

Not really sure what to think about this thing. ...
Not really sure what to think about this thing. Gave it my 2year old for her birthday but so far she has totally ignored it. My 6 year old tried to play with it but she is way too big... Maybe they are both not the right age but so far I don't really understand the fuss about it. It's just a stylish bowl with two holes.

Nice but not a winner for us!
Bought for my son who is a sensory seeker and loves spinning. He is small 94cm and light 16kg but it was very difficult to get him spinning in this. He played for a few minutes as a snail but sadly it was not a useful purchase for us.However it is well made, strong and nice and bright.
