Love this Jotter
I am thrilled with this unusual Jotter. It is very nice and looks like no other Jotter to date. I've been keeping my eye on this one and it seems to have gone up a bit in price so I thought I'd jump on it. Glad I did. Absolutely lovely.

Elegance in a pen !
This was to be a gift, but upon opening the box to check the pen and test it (of course) I knew this "gift" would to stay at my home resting on my desk !!! I love this pen !!! Only now , I have to order another one because I still need that gift !!!

Classy and elegant
I have been a fan of the Parker Jotter since my father owned a complete set in silver back in the 60s. I was thrilled to have been given a Jotter as a gift several years ago and have not felt the same about any other ballpoint since. This special edition Jotter is beautiful. The etching actually helps me with the grip and the red upper part makes it even more distinctive. I prefer a medium blue ballpoint, and the Parker Quink cartridge writes well. Not to sound like a pen snob, but while others carry crappy plastic pens, or cheap-looking pens with marketing slogans, I am pleased I can produce an elegant and classy writing instrument that hopefully signals professionalism to the superiors with whom I work.

I Really Like This Pen! Review of Bronze Gothic Otherwise Everyone Should Own a Parker!!
I actually really like this pen and so you should probably give it five stars in your head while you read this review. I bought this because I damaged the click mechanism on my other one when I installed a non-Parker cartridge in it (a Fisher, I think) otherwise I would continue to use it.As I 'had' to replace the old one I figured why not get one that is really special, thus we are here tonight composing this review. There are four different of these Special Edition London Architectural pens and I chose this one based upon price alone; any one of them would have suited me and if they all cost the same I likely would have chosen a different one, but not by much, and actually the price differential is negligible, no, laughable but the reasoning was that if I hated the pen I would really hate it if I had purchased the costliest of the lot.It turns out that I really like this pen. Love would be too strong a word but truthfully it isn't too far off. I say this even though I really don't love the design, if I'm being honest I don't even really like it very much; nevertheless I really like this pen (and Love wouldn't be too strong a word to use), and here's why:I don't like the 'Bronze' color of the upper barrel. It looks more like brown to me and it isn't very catchy or expecially appealing. I also am not wowed by the engraved design which has a lot of gothic lettering that I can't make out the meaning of, and it takes up about a third of the lower barrel. I must say, though, that the contrast between the etched surfaces and the polished chrome of the rest of the barrel is arresting and somewhat fascinating. Also, the pen feels lighter than a regular Jotter; appreciably lighter. Yet, when I weighed my old one and this new one the difference was only .1 grams (the old one being the heavier of the two). Yes, the ink cartridge on the old one is nearly empty and so if one were to weigh the two with full ink carts then definitely there would be a difference of at least a gram, one imagines, but the critical point is that this new pen felt substantially lighter than my old one with its empty ink cartridge even though there was only .1 grams difference between the two.I put this down to the fancy engraving which makes the lower barrel look like lacework. I guess one might say it creates an illusion of airiness and light? Whatever it is, this pen looks and feels lighter than a regular Jotter.I must say that I really like using this new pen (Love wouldn't be too strong a word) and how the texture of the engraving feels to me fingers. It actually makes it feel as though one is able to write more easily and clearly; although, there doesn't appear to be any qualitative difference between the two when compared.I did notice that when I pulled it out in front of a customer it grabbed his eyes and he almost commented on it. I don't know if this is just because the pen is new and flashy though because when my old one was new I had someone comment on it when I pulled it out to use (Funnily enough, a fellow in Amsterdam commented on the old one which I had in my shirt pocket as I always do so maybe Parkers just have the effect of eliciting the odd comment, or not, as it were). To sum it up, I don't care much for the color, nor do I care much for this particular design but I really like this pen (Love wouldn't be too strong a word).

Beautiful and possibly collectible
I purchased the bronze gothicWhat I like -The gothic design is embossed and aesthetically is very satisfying/pleasing to look and feel.It is possibly a collectible if they stop manufacturing it in a few years. In the future, I may go ahead and purchase the full set. What I do not likeIt is a bit lighter than what I would personally prefer not much different from other jotters ( for reference)The price point is still a bit higher in my belief but not unacceptable. It is smooth enough but if you have been spoiled by using ballpoint pen refills of higher-end pen companies then you may find t tad bit sticky.

Worked good for a couple of months
Decent writing pen, but now the ink cartridge will not retract...something is causing it to jam inside the pen. Sent an email to Parker for warranty work 2 weeks ago with zero response from them. Spent $26 on a pen that doesn't work and no warranty help. Updated 1-23-20, Parker did finally get back to me after 3 weeks. Asked me to send proof of purchase and a photo of the pen. Once I did that they responded quickly they are sending me a replacement. I upgraded my rating to 3 stars.

dark goth
Overall I like the pen and it feels comfortable. Only complaints are that I think it is perhaps slightly overpriced and that it is a lot darker than in pictures. It looks like normal dark brown and not bronze as such, all the detailing in the pictures here is accentuated by use of light. The etching looks darker and deeper than in reality. I have other jotters and an old Insignia. If only this had the weight and balance of the Insignia. It IS a really cool pen and would want it had I seen it first hand myself and not here online but it does look different than depicted.
