Diatomaceous Earth 2.5kg (Fresh Water Food Grade) by DiatomPure® Human

I used it to stop an infestation of dust/flour mites in my kitchen. I put it everywhere on the worktop and other surfaces. A few days later, I no longer had any mites crawling around the kitchen. Perfect! I recommend it.I should not have bought the 2.5kg tub. It is soooo big! I thought I would have enough in case it did not work well the first time. I am still not convinced about the 'eating' part of it. I wanted to try but I am still a bit worried about some side effects. I might keep it for later.

I've tried DE from several different manufacturers but I always came back to DiatomPure brand. You can tell the difference just by looking at the powder consistency and after drinking some water with this DE you can feel how 'crunchy' it is between the teeth meaning it really is pure powder of miniature ultra-sharp particles. I could name one brand of DE that is being sold here on Amazon that feels as if it had more white-powder like additives than DE itself despite dozens of positive reviews... I don't think you can get better quality that this one. The tube is also soooo much better than having to deal with a plastic bag too, since DE tends to get all over the place. The less handling you need to do, the better, since it can be harmful to your eyes and lungs if not handled carefully. 5 stars not good enough.

I take a tablespoon daily in the morning and now after 6 months my nails have become so strong! my digestion is better and I no longer have any of the leaky gut symptoms I was having. In others words I no longer have loo problems :-) I tell everyone I can about the benefits of taking DE which are numerous - far more than the few I have focused on above. do your research and read for yourself it really should be better known.

I've seen people talking about using this in their bedrooms to rid them of insect infestations...I'm slightly surprised by this, given that the powder has microscopic glass-like particles which, if disturbed and breathed in, are never removed from the lungs.There's also no evidence of any kind of health benefits - although apparently safe to ingest, it's isn't absorbed by the body, so I'm surprised people are reporting some frankly miraculous health improvements...I bought it to destroy some ant nests on the lawn, but I won't be using it until the winter when there's no risk of any of us breathing it in...

Seems to work well, I have mixed this with a variety of things including orange juice (makes it fizzy), tea (hmm, not so sure), porridge (not bad) and hot chocolate (actually makes it lovely and creamy!), would recommend (though I couldn’t have it in just plain water myself)

Not sealed and had lot of powder on the outer lid which meant it got everywhere out of the box and when trying to open it a lot in the air which isn't good to breath , not sure about the quality of the product yet but hopefully it's safe to have with it not sealed

We use it to deter garden pests, and we take it ourselves in a glass of water each morning. I have to say, we have found the benefits of taking it, a very natural way of flushing the system out.
