well made product...easy to set up
well made ... Looks nice, not cheaply made. We are using for a bit heavier set senior.. sturdy in shower...side hold seat bars make it easier for senior to sit down and get out of chair. Side bars keep senior from sliding out or off chair because she can steady herself holding on to the chair sides. Great choices for different seat height needs. Great price for product quality. Could be used functionally as just a seat for a senior to sit in while in bedroom or bathroom getting dressed or ready for a new day.

Perfect size and comfortable
I am no longer able to shower while standing. This chair is designed in a way that makes me feel safe. It has a comfortable padded seat and back and has arms. It adjusts easily and the rubber covered feet gives a lot of stability. Very happy with my purchase.

Skeptical (no, totally Frustrated!) At First
The photo and description of the seat seemed to be exactly hat I was looking for. As usual, it arrived in pieces, but the INSTRUCTIONS WERE HORRIBLE!!! And it took 3 of us to figure her all out by trial and error fore we, 2 days later, got it all assembled.I love it — strong and sturdy with the cross-bars for stability (my other one was wobbly and frightening) — and the arms are great for stabilizing the body and for pushing off to stand.Otherwise a good buy — BUT FIX THOSE INSTRUCTIONS!!!! (Also, Amazon says it has a video for the assembly of the chai, but it does NOT. At least none that I could find.

This is a great chair!
First: this item arrived just a day after I ordered it, which is great.Second: It can be intimidating to open the box and see all the different parts. ALL of it has to be assembled.Third: It's EASY EASY EASY to assemble. It comes with very clear instructions and I was able to do it in under 15 minutes and I didn't need any tools. One of the stand-out features to me are the feet. It comes with regular ones and also a set of large suction cup feet. I was over-joyed to see this because I bought the chair for my 93 year old father to use as an actual chair and not a shower chair. To explain: He had a bad habit of trying to sit on the side of the tub while getting dressed because the tub is the closest place. I wanted something that I could put over the side of the tub so the back legs are in the tub and the front feet are on the floor in front.I was able to achieve this by shortening the length of the front two legs. It works beautifully and I no longer have to be concerned about my father falling into the tub. This is a quality product. I wasn't too thrilled about the high price, but it's definitely worth it.

Very Sturdy Chair
Ordered this for my 91 year old Pop-Pop he asked for a shower/bath chair as he said his legs get tired by the end of his shower now. I had an extra long and short screw. Came up one washer short. Not sure how washers were supposed to go so I fixed them to lay flush with tube not the thumb screw base that looked odd to me placed that way. It took me about 30 minutes with no taking apart and reassemble. The directions were pretty clear. Decided to forego the foam for now it does seem flimsy and kind of cheap. Will hang on to it in case he changes his mind and wants it. I think I may have gotten a return as all the screws, washers were in the same bag and the big bag with seat pieces was tied in a knot and the large suction feet were loose in the box. Outside packaging was fine.*Ladies assembling this seat may want to use soft grab pliers or place a cloth over screw base just to prevent damage to the screw base Then place pliers to finish tightening the screws especially if you do not have a lot of hand strength or have arthritis in hand or fingers.Pop-Pop seems happy with the chair and that is all that matters is keeping him safe and happy. Overall it seems like a good solid purchase.
