Perfect for using tablet and laptop together
I wanted an easier way to use my devices in my new summerhouse, but don't have the space for a floor stand or table. This fits onto the arm of my poang rocking chairs really well. Its also easy to swing out of the way. I have an iPad and MacBook air, both feel very secure, even when leaning on the laptop to type etc. I did mount one arm upside down, as others suggested On here to get a better seated typing height. I liked that there are 3 spare grips as these are only plastic, and so the weakest link, despite the fact that they don't feel like they will break any time soon. I now miss it while Im sat indoors in the rain, and wish they did a version that would fit my armchair! Well worth the price if you get a sore neck or back using your gadgets away from a desk, but do check you've something firm to attach it to first.

Nice product, Well made, Laptop height maybe a problem.
I was a bit wary of buying this as I have had other brackets and stand before that looked good but didn't really do the job very well. This item has some good points and some bad.The pole and clamp are great nice and solid, but you might struggle to get it through the hole in a desk but you can unscrew it and put that bit underneath yourself and re-fix it. I tried many way of configuring this item, even turning the whole thing upside down, but that wasn't good and is not recommended. The plastic pole clips are a great idea and work a lot better than I thought they would. The tablet / phone holder is great, nice and tight and the arm is flexible enough to put the item where you want it.The laptop arm and holder is not so good. If you use it as you see in the image the laptop is too high to use even when putting it at the bottom of the pole. So, I turned it upside down and this has worked better for me, (but I am not sure if it is supposed to work like that.)The bits that hold the laptop are awkward to setup, but the ball type fixing makes it easy to tip it up and down. The biggest problem is the clamps that go on the side. These stop you from shutting the lid! This can mean your laptop doesn't turn off or shutdown. The other problem is that it doesn't like laptops with extended battery's or thick laptops as they tend to slip over the clamps at the bottom. So beware for a bit of logical thinking when getting this item. I can see the construction of this being a bit confusing to some.It is nice and solid, but you might have to turn the laptop arm upside down to get the right height. (This is only my view)

High quality, sturdy laptop and tablet holder
A quality item - easy to assemble and use. Good g-clamp attachment and smooth, sturdy holders for tablets (mini or regular size) and laptop. I teach online fitness and the bracket holds the laptop just beneath my tripod camera, so that I can look at the camera and laptop together. It has a high quality finish. Great value too.

Ok, but has a MAJOR fault.
The clamp, and post are sturdy, and the arms are well made and likewise, are sturdy enough.Where this system falls down, (badly), is that the plastic semi-circular clips that are meant to secure each arms height on the column.. are woefully poor at doing so. They are meant to sit in grooves to prevent the arm from sliding down the column, but they stretch and open under even just the weight of the arms by themselves, and the arm drops. This is a major design flaw.. They need to lock into the grooves as they are load bearing.I have had to improvise, and make my own clips out of very heavy gauge copper. It's purely the inconveniance of the returns procedure that has prevented me returning this for refund. It's doing its job now, but only because I manufactured my own clips.

wont recommend for 15.6' laptop maybe is too heavy
excellent for tablet or even my 15.6' external monitor fitHowever, the laptop arm cant hold the laptop well, the laptop will tilt on one side, it is disappointed especially i am using it with dual monitor set up

Worth investing in
I've tried a couple of cheap laptop stands in the past, but now working at home more regularly I thought I'd try some a bit sturdier with more flexibility. This has been a great addition to my WFH setup. I use mounting on the desk behind my monitor. I have my laptop on 9ne arm to act as a second monitor and a tablet on the other arm for playing music/podcasts in the background. Works really well. The product itself is really sturdy in use and looks like it'll last for many years.
