Great quality for the price.
I have tried a few dog clippers over the years and I really didn't like any of them, they all seemed to "pinch," instead of cutting. These clippers are actually sharp and the light makes it so much easer to see where you are cutting. I like the guide on it, I have had no issues with cutting the quick, using the guide. The guide is a lot easer to line up with the light. It's a game changer and now I don't have to stress so much about cutting black dog nails.

It’s helpful
I have a pair with no light and they work fine. The light is helpful. Just takes getting use to. Possibly operator error on my part but, I have to learn the best position for the light so it illuminates the quick (vein). My pup is 125 lbs. He has big nails. They’re white and relatively easy to see the quick. Also m, the instructions say to cut perpendicular to the nail. Horizontally works best for me. They work fine.
