wheels are 175mm (7in) and when locked the brakes work, ideal for outdoor use, very lightweight and very little constructionalso has a handy storage compartment under the seat - brilliant value for the money

Q: does it fold to take on a bus ?

I'm sorry for the delay, I have been on holiday. Yes, it folds by a simple lift of a strap. Mine has been in several different cars and a touring coach. It is not difficult to take on buses or trains. I am 80+.

Q: Is this item ok for larger people if so what is the width

The seat is approx. 34cms and the width overall is approx. 45cms. and I personally am classed as a larger person and have no bother seating on it.The only problem I have is getting it to stay upright when it has to be stored.I feel it should have some kind of clips that can be fixed to either side to enable it to stay upright. In all I am very pleased with it.
