I have been lactose intolerant for a few months now and find the dairy free diet very difficult to follow if i am not preparing my own food.When eating out, i had to have a very restricted diet as you just don't know what has dairy products in it.A friend recommended these tablets to me and i thought i would give them a try.When they arrived, i decided to give them an extreme test to see how effective they were.I took two tablets and then consumed a litre of milkshake within an hour afterwards.Then nothing! No ill effects at all. I was amazed.Clearly, from other reviews, timing can vary for different people.I simply take two tablets just as i start eating anything dairy based, or a single tablet if eating anything else that i haven't prepared myself, just in case.I have had no ill effects at all since starting the tablets, except for a couple of times i forgot to take the pills.I now carry these tablets wherever i go and won't be without them.

I have awful lactose intolerance when it comes to most things and my tolerance isn't very high, I'd have to miss out on a lot of my favourite foods if it wasn't for these. It's taken me a while to get used to when to take them, but everyone is different, if I'm having a lot of dairy (say, a lot of pizza, cheesy sides, dairy dessert) then I have three or four tablets after I've eaten. It may sound like a lot, but after some trial and error that's the amount that's right for me depending on what I'm having. If i take them before or at the same time they just seem to delay symptoms and a couple of hours later I'll be feeling awful. Give it five minutes, take some of these, and I won't have any problems at all. I've got some lactose intolerant friends who I've told about these and get excited that there is something that can help them eat normally without worrying. Life saver!

I feel like I still get some bloating, like the next day or sth, but other than that, they do the job credibly on the day of eating dairy.

For some reason, Amazon, again :( removed a review by me so I am re-reviewing this product. This is a great product that feels very pure compared to similar that you can buy on the High Street, i.e. it doesn't contain an endless list of additives, gelatin etc. I am extremely lactose intolerant but if I take one or two tablets before eating foods containing lactose, I can consume a small quantity without issue, i.e. a drop of cream, a small bowl of ice cream etc. Note: lactose refers to the milk sugars and so most cheeses do not contain lactose and so these can be eaten freely without the enzyme. I have bought several of this product from this seller without issue.

I bought these after my last lot of lactase tablets ran out. Since I couldn't remember which brand I had bought I decided to give Quest a go. They work...to a degree. I need to take 2-3 times the amount of these to get anywhere near the strength my last set had, and even then my symptoms aren't completely dealt with. If you need to use these regularly, even for small amounts of lactose, I'd advise looking elsewhere.

I came on time, good price, good product and it works.As a lactose intolerant is very umplesant when I have a food with lactose,I workout almost everyday and I take whey protein (comes from milk) it contains a lot of lactose,so everybody knows what happen, I didn't know this product and I didn't belive too much. but I can feel the difference now, I take 2 tablets with my whey protein and it helps a lot, it is not going to avoid 100% the simptoms of an lactose intolerant, but in my case probably 85-90% that is great for me. I will recomend this product to anybody i come accross and i know have the same problem.

These are an absolute God-send. Mah. Gerd.I've never tasted such gloriousness. After months of abstaining from anything dairy related, this hit the spot and then some.A few hours passed and, low and behold, my tummy was fine. No gurgling, no bloating, no paint-melting farts. The only thing I will note was some slight discomfort at my lower intestines during the evening. But, yeah.I carry these bad boys around with me everywhere I go. Just be warned, if you take them too often, they soon lose their effects.
