Easy bolt-on install, great value, upgraded construction
I love my 2014 Chevy Cruze LTZ and want to keep it for a long time to come. So when I got an overheated engine one day, I was dismayed, only to see the coolant reservoir nearly empty! I investigated and found the leak near the upper connection to the Water Outlet Valve assembly, and after some research apparently these parts go bad on pretty much every car they're installed on...I liked the look of the aluminum housing, and placed the order. Very well packaged, complete with necessary bolts, an extra hose to connect to the reservoir, and even a pair of blue latex (or nitrile?) gloves that made it easy to keep my hands from getting so greasy.I had watched a few YouTube videos on how to drain/flush/bleed the coolant, and with the right equipment it was an easy job. I was nervous that the actual removal and install would take much longer than the videos indicated, but I had the whole thing swapped out, new coolant installed, and checked out in under 2 hours.Construction is excellent...hope it gets me more than 85K miles like the first plastic one!

Notorious plastic fitting cracked, this was relatively easy to install and cured the leak

Bypass Hose Leaks
It's way sturdier than the original. But it leaks coolant around the included bypass hose connection.
