Exciting!
Finally I can join the ranks of alcohol artists! (I tried to do it the cheap way by mixing up my own colours but it was not working.)Enclosed is a picture of an abstract piece done on Yupo paper. The most exciting thing about these inks is their gold. I used it to frame the picture and as random accents inside. The gold colour does not mix with the other colours but rather travels on their surface, dispersing into smaller clusters till just a shimmer is left, like gold nuggets in a tray of sand. Of course I have a long way to go to thoroughly understand how to best work with this medium but what I can tell you is to use just one (1) drop of ink and spray it with pure alcohol 99% and let it travel on the paper (with a bit of help from you). Then when it dries, use another drop of a complimentary or contrasting ink and repeat the process. In my painting I used violet, yellow, green, gold and a touch of white and did not wait for each colour to dry. Thus I used too much colour which I had to mop up with kitchen paper. So trust me when I say a drop goes a long way! As you can see, the violet turned into magenta and when it mixed with the other colours produced a warm pinkish brown. If you can afford these little bottles of ink, go ahead, spoil yourself! The inks do not have a smell but if you are spraying alcohol, be careful as little droplets of ink can land on your furniture and carpets so protect your working surface and try to spray from outside in. A pair of gloves will come in handy as well as a piece of kitchen towel to absorb any excess ink.So what can you do with these creations? Well you can cut the paper in smaller pieces and use it for card-making, or decorate it with collage, stamps and doodles, or just frame and enjoy. I am sure it would look good in die cut images, too, if you have a die cutter that will handle Yupo synthetic paper. BTW Yupo is really expensive, so better buy a larger size and cut it smaller at home. As for IPA (alcohol) I found a good offer here on Amazon.

How to make petri resin work.
If your resin petri isn't working its because you don't own these pigments. They're pricey, yes. Especially compared to the "50 inks for £5" around the Internet. However having now used several of those ink brands I can absolutely assure you that these are the ones you need. You'll save more money just getting them than wasting time and resin on failed attempts.Having checked online and local craft shops, these are also the cheapest you'll get them. Not many places do the set in the UK so it can run you a bit costly. This set also comes with a gold which is really beautiful. But yeah, if you're doing petri work it's these ones you need, and there aren't really any cheaper alternatives that work.

Very nice for crafting
Colours are amazing. I use it for my resin works and this is the best what I ever had for colouring. I was expecting to pay extra for delivery from US to UK, but I didn’t have to. Arrived much earlier then expected. I will buy again

Vibrant and effective
This product is exactly as advertised and the colours are amazing. My only issue was the lack of a stopper of some sort? Because of this I had some leaking - luckily it didn’t get in any surfaces, just my hands! It came off after a day or two, but worth noting.

Great inks and fabulous price
My local supplier was selling these inks for £8.95 each. I got 9 for just over £21 and I didn't have to pay any import charges. I was a bit dubious that they would be fake or wouldn't be any good but I've used them 3-4 times and they seem to be the real macoy! The colours are gorgeous and I've used them to make resin coasters etc. They took a couple of weeks to arrive but really pleased with them.
