A very useful, and flavourful, backup to use in stews if you run short of fresh onions
I ran short of fresh onions during lockdown and remembered that I had used dried onions in cooking mince when my children were younger and were refusing to eat onion. I’ve used these now in various pressure cooker stews and they work very well as long as a little extra liquid is added to allow for re-hydration. They are a very useful backup and add good flavour.

I am allergic to raw onions, but have been able to use dried onions, and this is wonderful. I can cook now and add flavour to my food.

Smell fresh and tasty
Love them, ideal for stews and casseroles when fresh onions have run out. Also lovely added as an extra in a stuffing mix.
