Raleigh - Rascal Lightweight Adjustable Children's Cycling Helmet Size 44-50cm

This helmet was purchased for our daughter when she just turned two. She is very small for age and this was still very loose, however for us it suits because she isn't going speeding on her own on scooter. We got it more as a token to ensure she gets the connection at an early age the importance of helmet wearing. Now at two half it fits her nicely still with some room but it's more safer and secure now. We choose this helmet as it was so hard to find such a small one and a nice girly one too. Raleigh was a trusted brand from my childhood so seemed a natural choice. I'm pleased to say we've not had chance to review in event of an accident and I hope at this young age if won't as she's still not unaccompanied on scooters and bikes etc. I'm such a strong advocate on helmet wearing and road safety I'm not even going to make any jovial comments on this review. Please helmet your child they are never too young, yes you might feel a bit daft when they still can't reach the pedals on the trike but better now than battling with your child later on to wear one when they are more likely to have a bang.

Purchased a more expensive toddler helmet for my daughter's second birthday. Got fed up of it slipping around on her head and found this one. Quality and appearance both fine for the price paid, and most importantly it stays on her head.

Excellent delivery. Good, cute product and a good fit. Very adjustable except for the forehead padding that seems like it could come unstuck at any moment - already wobbling.

Like the fact it is smaller sized to fit my grandson, struggled being able to get a helmet small enough for him to ride his bike

I bought this for my above average sized 14 month old and it’s too big. I measured her head before purchase several times. We got as far as the end of the drive and we went back because despite tightening the chin strap she’d pulled the thing off. Have put it aside for her second birthday to go with her scooter! Very pretty helmet! But for babies I can only really recommend Abus. Had it for my others and should have stuck with it for this one!!

Bought this for my 1 year old daughter. The fit is excellent, very secure and well padded. The helmet is exceptionally light and has a easy to use clip strap. Its not too bulky at the back, so suitable for riding on a rear seat, without forcing the head forward. I feel this helmet would provide my daughter with the adequate head protection she would need in the event on an accident. I recommend this helmet.
