Let's be honest music theory is not a subject children like to study, but if they play an instrument then it has to be learned. This book was recommended to us by my daughters violin teacher and is basically musical theory by stealth!! The children do not realise they are actually doing theory because they are having fun doing all the puzzles and games. This book will take children through Pre-Grade 1 theory, then Grade 1 theory and finally Grade 2 theory. So far my daughter is really enjoying working through the book as she loves puzzles and games. Highly recommended.

A good way for children to learn theory for piano up to Grade 2. Easy to understand and enjoyable to do, as in the format of a puzzle book. Children enjoy doing theory practice without even realsing they are learning something!
