Exactly as advertised.
100Gb on a disc is of course nearer to ninety gig or so, but these discs are entirely compatible for data on appropriate drives. Note: you cannot record video for playback on these, primarily because your BR player plugged into your TV cannot read the lower layers on these. Data only I'm afraid.

Check compatibility!
I bought this for my writer, which claims to be able to write to 100GB disks, only to find out it is not compatible, after I opened it and tried it. I will try to return it but don't think they will take an opened disk. Before buying, check that your drive is compatible with BDXL. If your drive specifications don't mention BDXL that it is most likely not compatible.
