Superb milk frother!
I love this! You can froth small amounts for a cappuccino or larger amounts for lattes. It's great to heat your milk too. I have used it with oat milk and dairy - it works brilliantly. It's much better than my electric milk frother. I bought it to use in my camper van when we don't have electric hook up, but I'm using it at home too!

Fantastic: silky smooth milk & thick stable foam
Our electric counter top milk frother broke after 10 years service. I did quite the research to find the next milk frother and settled on this to use on our gas stove. It's simply brilliant. Silky smooth milk, incredibly thick stable foam. Along side my old faithful moka pot, this combination is unbeatable. The Italians really do know what they're doing here! And cleanup is super quick and easy. Using milk from this for hot chocolate is also proving a hit in our house. I cannot recommend this enough.(Do check the size, I went with the larger pot size for this, as we like big coffees in our house and i'm so glad i did).

Frothtastic
Indispensable when the power goes off, all you need is a gas ring for incredibly frothy milk for your cappuccino.

Works but…
It works well in that you can froth up milk quickly after heating milk on a stove. Good for a latte but not all thick froth for, say, cappuccinos. But it does not look as aesthetically nice as the images. More a grey than Matt black and no ‘trendy’ bialetti man/logo.

Need a bit of elbow grease, but well worth it!
Doesn't work super well if you have only a teensy amount of milk, but as long as you are using enough milk for one cappuccino sized coffee it's good. Got to really 'give it some beans' (excuse the pun...) and rapidly plunge the milk for a good 15 seconds, but the result is silky, velvet foam, plus the additional benefit of an arm workout!N.B. Be careful to position this so that the plastic handle isn't over the flame. I put it on a silicon mat when I am frothing because it does get very hot (necessarily) and could damage a worktop if not careful.

Froth
Needed to replace older version of this. I personally think this is, better than electric versions.

Quality has dropped. It works but wears out fast.
The second of these I have owned and it does achieve it's purpose of frothing the milk nicely. A little messy and noticed that the newer version spills more milk out out of the top. The mixing part doesn't seem to fit as snugly as it should to the inner rim.My biggest issue with the newest version sold is that the non sticker coating is very poor. After only a few weeks it started to peel off the bottom. The first one of these I bought was much more durable and it was several months before it started to wear as badly as the new one.It would seem materials used on not as good and the quality is poorer. It works well but I think net time I may look for a stainless steel or glass type.

Cleaning
This is the second frother we have bought as the previous one lasted about a year before the inside non-stick coating cpmpletely came away. We attributed this to putting it into the dishwasher so this time we wash it by hand in warm soapy water and it is lasting much better.Other than that, it is an excellent frother, but if any more than one person uses it make sure to get the larger 1 ltr version as it creates better froth at this size.
