This charging stand seemed perfect at first. It charges my iPhone 13 Pro flawlessly and fast, even in its MagSafe case. I don’t have AirPods to recharge on the lower section of the charger, but I CAN lay my iPhone XR on that pad and recharge it wirelessly, even installed in its Apple Smart Battery Case! What a surprise that was! Unfortunately, though, the problem shows up in working with my Apple Watch. It actually DOES charge it ok. However, the pad for the Watch doesn’t conform well with the rounded back of its case. The charging pad is slightly concave, but is so shallow that it might as well be flat. It is magnetic and holds the Watch, but the contact is just on a pinpoint. The case would spin like a top if not for the Watch band.The reason this matters is because an Apple Watch needs to make good contact with a charger. When the contact is poor, the Watch keeps trying to reconnect, and you hear the familiar chime it always makes at that point. There is no way to make the connection better, even though it actually IS charging. Also, as far as anyone knows, you can’t silence that chime. So- if you want to charge your devices on your nightstand (or anywhere within earshot), it will chime every minute or two until you’re forced to disconnect it in order to sleep. This means that I have to charge my watch at some other time- NOT convenient at all! If you charge your devices in some room other than your bedroom, it shouldn’t be a problem. But for me, it turns a nearly perfect charger into a nuisance.** UPDATE**I have changed my rating from 2 stars to 5. Here’s why:Shortly after my initial review, I noticed that Amazon had a link where I could get support for that product, so I tried it. I explained my problem with charging the Watch, and an Amazon rep responded to me very quickly, telling not to worry, because this seller was one of their very best at handling customer/product issues and that they would take care of me. Sure enough, Selina from Amanki (seller) reached out to me ASAP , was very kind and concerned, and offered me the option of either replacement or return for a full refund. In fact, most of her communications with me took place over an entire weekend, when I thought for sure I wouldn’t hear from them until a “business day.” I was impressed.- While spending some significant time researching perhaps a better alternative charger, I learned two things. 1- A few random persons had experienced the same connection issues with other brands of chargers, but not many. So- it CAN happen, rarely. And 2- I really couldn’t find a design that I liked better than this one I had purchased. Therefore, I wrote back to Selina and offered to try a replacement IF she would guarantee that I could return it for a refund if it didn’t work either. Instantly (weekend, remember?) she messaged me on Sunday and reassured me that they would take care of me.*** Great news! I had the replacement the next day on Monday, and it worked perfectly… not one connection problem with the Watch, and no unwanted noises overnight. I tried again the next night, and again, my phone and watch charged perfectly. In fact, I also noticed that the Apple Watch charged much faster with the replacement, so there must have been some issue with charger #1.This seller’s customer service was superb, and I’m so glad that Selina made me comfortable enough to try a replacement (I was most hesitant). It turns out that the charger is everything I had hoped for and so far, performs beautifully. SO- to Selina, Amanki, and Amazon: many thanks! This is EXACTLY how customer support and service SHOULD be. I commend you for it, and I certainly recommend this seller and product to anyone. FIVE STARS!

I have often been disappointed when I tried to save a buck by buying an inferior product. Lately, I've been focused on buying fewer items but of greater quality. This is a perfect example. It has form and function at premium quality.FORM. This charger looks and feels great. I charge my devices in the kitchen, so this charger sits out in the highest traffic area 24/7 and looks great doing so. The build quality is top-notch, and it feels like it was something "Designed by Apple in California." My wife will also frequently toss her phone on it in the evenings to get a bit more charge. It looks great at all times.FUNCTION. It has a pretty sharp angle, which is great for viewing but would be disastrous if it had weak magnets, which it doesn't. It has the perfect hold: enough magnetism to hold it on and the proper strength so that you don't need a crowbar to pull it off. You can detach it one-handed without needing to hold down the base. (I will repeat what has been noted already that you do need a mag-safe phone case for it to work, or go caseless as I do. It won't work on standard cases as the angle is too steep.) It charges everything perfectly, and I love that I can get it all done in a compact space.I would recommend this product to anyone sick of buying cheap junk and regretting it. Get this premium product, and be happy for life. I've been using it for over a month, and it is my favorite charger I have ever purchased.

I’ve owned this charger for a year and then some and I have zero complaints.Still works the same it used to day 1. The build is what I truly love, it feels like such a quality product. I get compliments on it all the time and people assume it’s more expensive than it actually is.I always travel with it because it’s just that good.Haven’t had any issues, I use it to charge my watch, phone and AirPods. If you want a MagSafe charger I’d say this is a quality !

April '22 - This charger looks nice and basically does what it says, charges up phones, apple watch and other QI devices. Construction is sturdy. The area on the back for the apple watch is a bit more flat than it should be, the watch doesn't really fit down into it as much as it sits on top of it. That doesn't seem to affect the charging, however. The only negative is that the watch sometimes goes on/off/on/off, like the charging to it is going on/off. Other reviewers have had the same complaints because when that happens, the watch constantly makes a beeping sound. That could be quite problematic if you are trying to sleep and the charger is on your nightstand. I keep my watch on silent, so I don't notice that too much. The resolution to that was the vendor sent out a replacement unit to other customers. I have not requested that as of yet, but if I notice that the watch doesn't charge reliably that will be my next course of action. Other than that I have been pleased with the purchase.October '23 - About a week ago the watch portion of the stand stopped charging entirely. I reached out to the vendor and they sent me a replacement unit. I do wish the unit lasted longer, but I have to give credit for the great customer service they provided. Fingers crossed this replacement unit won't have the same problem in the future.
