I was on a mission for a clean body wash in a glass bottle when I came across this jewel. Gnarly stuff can leach from plastic bottles, which contradicts the purpose of using healthier products. Enter Bathing Culture, in all its delightful retro glory! I love the relaxing yet invigorating, balanced, evergreen scent: pure, clean, earthy and takes me back to Big Sur amongst the Redwoods, overlooking the sea. Ahhhh. My kiddo loves it, too, and has zero issues with the scent, soap or glass bottle. Also appreciate their mindfulness in avoiding overused (and endocrine disrupting) ingredients like lavender and tea-tree. Being Castille-based, it isn't the most moisturizing by nature and it does take a few pumps to really get a good lather, but it's worth it because it gets you squeaky clean and in its gorgeous glass vessel, it's simply THE cleanest, purest liquid soap out there. Would love if they could offer an additional scent so big fans like us could rotate our fix a couple times per year. Thank you, Bathing Culture! Love your product.

This definitely feels like a high quality soap, it lathers really nicely and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry. The scent out of the bottle is pretty strong and took a little while to get used to, but after showering the scent is immediately gone which is the only reason why I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5–I prefer a scent that I can continue to enjoy even for a short while. I love that it’s in a glass reusable bottle and the design looks cute on display.

I had been considering this purchase for too long and finally just bought it. SO GLAD I DID. Wow, super luxe thick soap that lathers up really nicely, smells divine, and the refillable bottle is very cute. Would def buy again. It is liquid soap tho, not a shower gel. Different consistency for those thinking they are getting a gel.

Not much fragrance. This company must be paying off all of its promoters. Absolutely nothing special and expensive.

this soap's scent has a very smoky, musky tang that I wasn't expecting, and it takes a large amount of soap to get a very short-lived lather going. afterwards, my skin is left feeling very dry. I like the company's commitment to sustainability but I wish the product was better

Best smell, lather and cleaning. I tried Salt and Stone as well but found this to be the best overall body wash on the market. Nothing compares…

Not a pleasant aroma and made my skin sticky. Very hard to rinse off. Threw it out after one use.
