I have been using this product for several years - it is great, smells lovely and lasts a long time. However, this time I needed to show ID to receive the delivery!!??? It must be a admin error, but it was very amusing. The delivery driver was very embarrassed to have to ask, especially when I told him what was inside the package (yes, I opened it in front of him, so he didn't go away thinking I was mad)!

I read the previous reviews before buying this, I have to say it smells nothing like the description some are giving it. Firstly it smells nothing like any aftershave I have ever smelt, certainly nothing like Joop (well not to my nostrils) as one reviewer claimed but that doesn't mean it is bad, just unique.I would certainly say it is a 'boy' dog smell, we brought it for a German Shepherd but it would smell equally as good on a small dog, I'd describe it as a boy dog smell without being too butch.You don't need to spray much on, a little goes a long way and it lasts a long time, if anything I feel it is slightly too over-powering on initial use and it is day 2 where it smells better. By day 5 there is only a hint of the aroma left but that's good, I wish my aftershave lasted that long.Our dog despite being a German Shepherd is a bit of a baby when it comes to anything related to grooming, if he knew you were going to spray him he'd be off like a rocket however this pet cologne is in a pump action container, it isn't an aerosol so it comes out gentle and quiet.We have had people comment a day or two later on how nice he smells and when walking behind him on his walks you get a whiff of it every once in a while. A great product, maybe a little strong smelling on initial use but it does hide doggie odours rather well and lasts longer than you would expect.

My little staffy is a magent to bad smells. Even after a bath with high end shampoo he still has an unpleasant odour. When this arrived I was eager to wash him and he stank. Gave him his usual bath routine and after drying him and a brush I sprayed him just 3 times and brushed it through his coat. What a major difference. He's never had cuddles as much as he does now. Lovely masculine scent very accurate to joop and I like the word play with the name Duke. Very good product and a very happy staffy pup. No bad reaction. Skin and coat lovely and shiny and soft. I reccomened this to all who have smelly doggos

Wow OMG! Well yes it does smell like JOOP! Lobs hugging my pug but after a run around with all his doggie pals with the dog walker it can be like sitting next to 10 other dogs after they ran a marathon so this is a great in between bath perfume . It’s only day one so no idea how long it lasts or if it reduce doggie smell on furniture ... dog is very sensitive so we’ll see after day two if skin still fine but so far sooo good ... just obviously don’t put it on their head or near their face .. Read one review that did that and they had a reaction which wouldn’t surprise me .. I wouldn’t spray John Paul Gaultier all over my face and eyes and ears either . Love my dawg and he smells ready to go out for brunch !

This stuff is fab! Smells ace on our little Jack Russell and everyone compliments him on it!There's a few mixed opinions on weather it smells like joop or not... personally I think it does! (Although I haven't smelt joop on anyone for a long time so if the smell has changed I'm not sure!) But everyone who's visited have all agreed that it does smell like joop! :)Great product, lasts on the dogs coat for a long time, I also spray his bed with it! Will certainly buy this again when we run out! :)

I read reviews which seemed to be mixed regarding fragrance so wasn't sure whether to give it a go or not. I'm so glad I did, it smells divine and I think its just like Joop once it has dried. I'll be buying this from now on. My doggo smells amazing.
