A really great little product
I'm from Barcelona, where hot wax is very common. So when I saw that this product is made by a company from Barcelona, I was encouraged to buy it. The process of melting the wax is very simple, just a few minutes on the hob at a low temperature. Instructions are provided. I used it to remove my upper lip hair, aka Lockdown Moustace, and the results were fantastic. Here's a list of pros and cons:Pros: removed the hair completely, and pain was minimal. The pot comes with a small wooden spatula. The wax takes only a few seconds to cool down and dry on the skin, and ripping it off was very fast, easy and practically mess-free (it is self-applied wax after all, so it won't ever be perfectly neat). I am very fair, so I can't say how it will work with coarser darker hair, but again, most Spanish ladies have dark hair, so I will assume it works well.Cons: The handle gets very hot in the hob, so make sure you protect your fingers when handling it. Also make sure you set the pot with the hot wax in a flat, protected surface.Warning: If you're new at waxing or don't wax often, this may not be the product for you. As I said above, applying wax to one's face will always be trickier than having a professional apply it, but this is not a reflection on the product itself. All in all, I was very pleasantly surprised. My face is now smooth as a baby's butt, the process was very quick and practically painless. I followed up with Vaxy Finish Wax Wipes (also bought on Amazon) and I had very little redness afterwards.

Really Impressed - Nice on my skin!
I have really sensitive skin (especially on my face) and have reacted badly to certain types of hot wax in the past. I bought this pot during lockdown when my beautician was closed and it was the first time I had ever self-waxed.I’m really impressed for several reasons:1) I find this wax does a great job at removing hair2) My skin didn’t react badly to it and felt soft afterwards. In fact it barely went red which really surprised me3) This little pot lasted ages - at least 5 waxing sessions (I used it on small areas). If you wanted to do your legs or large areas, this is probably not the right product. The only tricky part was heating it up. Luckily I have an electric hob so it was easy to pop it in and off the hob to control the temperature. Once I figured out the desired consistency (thickness) it was easy from then on!(Handy tip: if you have a gas hob, pop the pot of wax into an old saucepan and then heat it gently that way. If you try to melt the pot of wax by balancing the pot directly on the metal grid above a gas flame, you are asking for trouble!).This has save me loads of money not getting eyebrows, armpits etc waxed at the salon which is great. I still get my legs done at the salon but mostly because I’m not a professional and it would take me ages to do it myself! Overall, I really recommend this product.

Very satisfied customer
Received today (earlier than expected) I have used a similar product so to avoid mess, I heated the wax in its own little pan standing inside an old saucepan on the gas stove... very successful. After testing the temperature on my wrist I applied the wax to my chin area evenly and removed with a sharp tug while pulling the skin taught. OK there were a few whiskers left but as my skin was so warm from the wax, they tweezed out very easily. My skin is left feeling soft and smooth.Incidentally as this is only for my personal use, I re use the wax by return the used wax to the remaining soft wax in the little pot ready for the next use. Nice product

Lovely product but little quantity for the price
I have been using wax for many decades. I can say this is a lovely product and easy to use.You can warm the wax in Bain Mari until it gets to the desired consistency. It is a very versatile product and it leaves the skin in very good condition. The quantity in the pot is super small - and it can be used for upper lip and small areas- sensitive areas as well.It would be lovely if the pot comes in bigger quantity to work on larger body areas.Very pleased with the quality.

Messy
This was so messy and took so much time to remove minimal hair. It has to keep being warmed which is really time consuming. Residue is left everywhere which is why i don't think its too good of a purchase. Maybe it is good for thick hair however has to be pulled constantly

Will never pay for a salon wax again
Not many reviews yet on here so I thought I'd post one. I was sick of paying silly prices in my local area for waxing repeatedly and thought I would try this. I was so pleasantly surprised with how easy it was. Lovely smooth result, and really quick. Barely painful at all, seriously! Wax heats up in its own mini saucepan on the hob. It's a bit runnier than most salon waxes I've had but it works fine. Just layer it up a bit. Test it first on your fingertip to make sure it doesn't burn you, I imagine it's quite easy to do that! When it thickens slightly, that seems to be the right temperature. Definitely will use this again and buy refills. It's really good value for money, and good product.
