De Atramentis Document Ink-Black 45 ml fountain pen bottled ink

This is authentic De Atramentis Document ink. See attached letter. Plan to use for line and wash. So far, I like it for writing and as an ink for my new fountain pen! Used it with some minor wash (see picture) and it bled a little but I didn’t wait to make sure it was set. The scribbles above were set and no bleed!Since purchasing, I have used in pen&ink drawings and simple thank you cards. Ink does not bleed. It is so smooth in my fountain pen and does not clog it! It is excellent! I highly recommend!

I am totally in love with this ink and it is my new and absolute favorite. It is perfect to use in fountain pens whether for writing or for use in conjunction with line work and watercolor or ink washes. It dries quickly and does not smear or smudge on any of the papers I use in journaling, art journaling, or letter-writing once dry. It does not run when washed over once dry. The black is rich and flows well from nibs, brush tips. I am very pleased with this ink!

Hi my product came on the 27 but its a nice ink give the ink a week or so to arrive for they may be busy filling orders any how its a nice ink i like it and i dont like how it didnt come in the container as showen but i do like howit came in a glass ink well over all i cant really complain . i guess this is the part were i say thank you oh so much thank you thank you thank you many personal thanks

This ink is the real deal for those who want permanent ink. I use it in urban sketching and it works. This seller also sent it well protected - not my experience when ordering ink from a different seller. I will order from this company again.

Picture didn’t match the new bottle, the cap shape was flat and not rounded. Seems like a new formula because it was horrible. The ink came out writing in a faded black shade, super thick, my fine nib fountain pen wrote like a medium nib with this new formula, bled through ALL my Tomoe river paper planners/journals. SO disappointed because the old one was my favorite!

This is my favorite ink for drawing with right now. I use it in a Pilot Metropolitan fountain pen. It has a nice flow, is easy to clean up the pen with water. It sets up really nice on the paper - I am using strathmore mixed media paper, or smooth bristol. It also does well with dip pens, and can allow for fine details without running together. I like the deep black color, and that it did not want to bleed into the paper, but made crisp lines.
