Works Brilliantly, But a Bit Pricey
I use these in every wash, and they’ve done an excellent job at preventing colour runs, especially with red items. They’re noticeably more effective than other brands I’ve tried, and I’ve had zero issues with colour bleeding since using them.Pros:Stops colour runs effectively – No more ruined clothes.Works better than other brands – Picks up a lot of dye.Easy to use – Just throw a 1-3 sheets in with your wash depending on size.Cons:A bit expensive – Wish they were cheaper, as I use them regularly.Final Thoughts:If you want reliable colour protection, these are the best I’ve used. Just be prepared to pay a little more for the extra effectiveness.

Be careful - Get sucked into pump
These colour catchers work well and are cheap, but they have more than once been sucked into the pump of the washing machine (as can happen with collar stiffeners) as they are thin, not as thick as the Dylon ones. However, this is easily resolved by putting them in a small laundry bag.

They work, but not 100%
These most definitely work, as you can see by the pics, but I wouldn't trust them to 100% catch any colour runs. I tried them out first on a few tea towels and hand towels, nothing too precious. One of the presumably newer tea towels was a mustard colour and the colour catcher came out a deep mustard. But the cream hand towel also came out a light mustard and all the other tea towels. I've since washed the tainted items a couple more times with a colour catcher, but they have stayed the same. So I will still be doing several different colour washes, and whites, separately and anything precious will be handwashed alone. It does say that you may have to use more than one and maybe that where I went wrong with the first (small) load. The multi coloured one in the pics is one that got caught in the door, so it only partially did its job. That happens frequently, despite tucking them into the laundry at the back of the drum.So in summary, they work well, but not so well that you can sling everything into one wash.
