Excellent story of art thieves. Tintin meets his old nemesis from years gone by. And did I hear you say, he was a-meeting him on the lake, to take him to his hide-away.

I've been fan of the tintin books along time.and add this to my collection puts big smile on my face

Originally known as Tintin et le Lac aux Requins, based on the Tintin animated film, directed by Raymond LeBlanc (1972).The world's biggest pearl is stolen from the Museum of Oceanography.Meanwhile Tintin and Captain Haddock arrive at Klow airport in Syldavia , on a visit to see Professor Calculus at Villa Sprog on the mysterious Lake Pollishoff.Tintin makes friends with two Syldavian children , Niko and Nushka who rescue Tintin and the Captain from a plane crash. The Professor has invented a machine that can reproduce objects.Rastapopulous want to get his hands on the Professor's machine , and kidnaps Niko and Nushka.On the trail to rescue the kids , Tintin end up discovering a large criminal gang at the base of the bottom of the lake , ruled by Tintin's old nemesis Rastapopulous. Rastapopulous tries to drown Tintin , Niko and Nushka , but with the help of the Captain , Snowy , Niko and Nushka's dog Gustav , the Syldavian police and the Thompson twins , the day is saved and Rastapopulous and his gang are brought to justice.I liked the way the characters where superimposed on the realistic background , which beautifully recreates the fictional Balkan country of Syldavia.

its not only that cover is crumbled, but inner pages are also not in very good shape. and the book is very old copy. not happy as this for for a child.

An enjoyable Tintin story even if not strictly of the Tintin canon.

It’s used but in very good condition like brand new.So now my collection is complete.Thank you

Tintin is a must for young boys. A relatable hero. The book arrived quickly and the quality of the binding, paper and print is really top drawer.

Made me think it's printed by not the publisher.
