Excellent flavor and aroma
The vanilla beans from Madagascar are the best available. I have used them on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed. I use them for making vanilla extract with high quality bourbon. Split the beans along the length all the way down and place them in a stopper capped bottle filled with a smooth 80 proof bourbon. Every 2 to 3 days invert the bottles and mix the bourbon to get a good distribution of the vanilla throughout the liquid. In about about 6 to 7 months you will have the highest quality vanilla extract for baking available.

These were skinny and shriveled up looking.
Trying to split these open took a magnifying glass. Very disappointed.

Thee beans were aromatic and fresh. I made pannacotta with them. I did need to use more than one to get strong flavor however.
