Maribelle 8 Seater Stained Pine Round Wooden Bench/Picnic Table - For Garden, Pub, Patio

Been on look out for a round 8 seater picnic table for sometime but we weren't keen on paying more than £300 for one. At beginning of every summer I have looked but couldn't bring myself to take the plunge, until now....In summary this is a well made product, it took two people to put it together. Unlike some we had no issues fitting everything and had the table up and running in under 2 hours. It is sturdy and the perfect size for us. As for the price, I have no direct form of comparison as this is our first of this kind but so far I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the material and sturdy design for the price that we paid. Cracking table that I would highly recommend.

A great product. Well made and assembly was done by 1 person in around 2 hours without any problems. Looks good and once treated we are expecting it to last us a fair few years. Great value for money and I would recommend this item. Seats 8 comfortably and doesn't feel like it will tip if overloaded more on one side. Buy it you won't regret it.

Instructions are poor-description of parts (diagram) did not match the parts I got. No dimensions so you had to apply common sense and think it through. X check the aligned holes and clean them through with large drill bit.The alignment of holes in the parts I thought was excellent. A little preparation of making sure it all fits through the holes and tighten up as the last section part is installed so its all in place.Of the screw holes I re-drilled after destroying several of the X head putting the pressure on to turn it.Plastic caps-nice touch except on the long bolts after installation and tighten up the bolt thread excess from the nut is to large for the cap. I finally had one short bolt missing, other spares are supplied such as screws-dowel and plastic caps. Overcome this issue with a coach bolt from my garage. Overall quality is good-sturdy. OK for a novice DIY person like me.

Lovely product. Great colour and size. I've put a bit of oil into the surface of mine which I'm hoping will make it easier to clean and might make it last longer. Plan to get a cover for the winter though; it's worth protecting! The courier was a mixed blessing though; I was given a 1 hour time slot which is great, arrived home 8 minutes before the start of the hour to find the van outside the house. "Great!" I thought, and the driver proceeded to put the boxes in the garage for me. It was a perfect delivery until I went in the house to discover he had already put a "We missed you!" card through the door with a false time on to show he was actually on time rather than early! Go figure...

Wooden Bench really badly designed and made, holes are not in the right place, the cross rails do not fit, we have had to botch it up to be able to use, as we waited along time to get all the delivery. Waited weeks to get the top of the table and that came in a damaged box, as the rest of the order came earlier, we will use as we have waited along time to get it, but it has taken about 5 hours to put together. We will not be buying anything from Outdoor Value again.

The bench offers good and sturdy seating for eight people (although it would be quite 'cosy' if all eight seats were occupied). As others have commented installation was tricky as it was difficult to line up all the bolt holes. Unlike some other reviewers we didn't have to resort to re-drilling the holes but a considerable amount of muscle was required to force the holes to align. We were disappointed that even on delivery some of the timbers were showing signs of splitting and now, in its second season, quite large splits have opened up, both on the table and on the seats; the rough edges (pictured) have snagged tights and clothes although we have tried sanding them down. The timber was probably never seasoned properly and it probably won't last another year before we have to replace it. The unit was relatively inexpensive compared to most so we've probably had our money's worth, but next time we'll probably want to spend a bit more for better quality.

Item arrived in time promised, very well packed with excellent instructions on how to assemble. Very sturdy, however I would suggest the seller includes a weatherproof cover for the item which I had to buy separately.

Quick delivery, ordered Sunday morning 11th arrived Tuesday 13th September, fantastic. Found it pretty easy to put together, I am no great DIYer but it took me 2 1/2 hours I was pleasantly surprised. Very happy with it, very good quality wood and bolts etc. Would recommend it. Hopefully stays dry on the weekend so we can christen it with a BBQ.
