Perfect for beginners
It’s light weight with enough coverage. It’s still quite sheer. Covers redness but not recommended for all day use since it pretty much gone by the end of the day. It has a slight cooling effect when put on. It’s sticky but when it sets it becomes semi matte finish. I recommend this for all skin types. When I put it on I definitely looked like I had glass skin. It’s giving my skin but better. It’s kinda like a skin tint to me. Since it’s so sheer but I also don’t really like reapplying my make up either so I haven’t tried reapplying it during the day.

nice cushion, refills sold independently
I love cushions but I’m never buying the same compact twice. It’s a waste of money and wasteful in general since usually cushions only come with ~12g of product. This is one of the few cushions where I could find refills on the official site so I don’t feel bad about buying it because I know if I like it I can buy a refill. I did end up liking the cushion, the finish isn’t exactly natural, in my opinion it looks exactly like the pictures but a little more glowy. Definitely looks a little rough by the 12hr mark. Not full coverage either but that’s what concealer is for imo. Still a very solid cushion, has SPF in it which is always a plus, looks nice with matte and glowy/dewy (less so full-on glossy) lip & cheek makeup so I would call it versatile. If you’re on the fence and have the money, I say go for it.BTW I have normal dehydrated acne prone skin and I wash my hands and face before using this cushion and so far no breakouts.

good color match + coverage
i have been looking far and wide for cushion foundations that would suit my south-east asian skin tone, and i came across the romand one in the shade 05 and thought to give it a try since it's not as expensive as the other ones I've been eyeing (AKA JSM and laneige). when i first swatched it, it was almost a perfect match! the undertone is definitely pinkish, way more pink compared to my glossier stretch concealer in the shade medium 1 which is more yellow/neutral. i have neutral undertones that lean a bit olive and this foundation looks pretty good on me (maybe even ever so slightly darker?), although i think i was a bit heavy-handed as this was my first time using a cushion foundation and it looked sorta cakey? since the sponge is also pretty firm, it was kind of difficult for me to know if i was picking up the right amount or not, but that can be fixed with practice. there's also a slight floral/sweet/sunscreen scent that i don't mind, but for sensitive skin girlies or girlies who don't like scents, probably stay away from this one. i found the coverage to be just the right amount for me -- around medium coverage. i wouldn't say that it's buildable because it might end up looking a bit cakey if you apply more than two layers.i did a test run and wore it to school for a whole day (applied at 7:30 AM) and by 10 AM i was definitely starting to feel a bit oily in my usual areas like my nose, forehead, inner cheeks and chin, but other than that it looked good. by 4 PM, my whole face was pretty oily but that's because i didn't use much powder and did not do any touchups. it didn't settle into my smile lines though which is good, and i thought it lasted pretty well throughout the day.overall, i would recommend this for oily/combination folks that have a neutral or cool undertone due to the pink undertones this cushion has. i would also recommend practicing using the cushion and the sponge and figuring out how to get the right amount bc it's so firm (unless i was the only one who struggled with that lol) and using powder if you're very oily like me.the pictures are showing the glossier concealer on top and romand on bottom.

The color was a perfect match but I found the foundation to be very drying on me. Like it it would leave dry patches around my mouth and nose. It maybe got an hour wear before it started looking rough.

not the best cushion i’ve gotten
it tends to cling onto dry patches on my face that i didn’t even know i had and just did not last as long as i thought it would. it made me look pasty and dry even when i am an oily person. the coverage was okay— not the best that i’ve seen either. maybe mine was a bad batch or something but it didn’t not live up to the hype. not to mention that i got a refill of the cushion and not the cushion itself :/

great cushion foundation
I am a light medium shade with neutral undertones and 05 Sand 25 was best fit for me. it is slightly tan but works well with my brightening powder. It covers very well without feeling heavy either.
