Worth every penny!
As a teacher of pupils with math difficulties, I find I can't live without this fab resource. The fact that units can be joined to make tens is a bonus because the children can physically convert lots of units into tens and are able to see the benefit of that. I managed to get this on sale. It was a few pounds more than another product which didn't fix together but glad I made this decision. LDA products are usually sturdy and top quality-you won't be disappointed. Great for anyone doing math-a must buy in my book.

Excellent math teaching resource
I've bought/made a fair few learning resources for my kids but this set is the one I use most regularly. It is excellent for teaching the concept of units, tens, hundreds and thousands and for a visual representation of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in the early years. The kids also sometimes just use it as a type of Lego which is useful for reinforcing the idea that it is a "fun" toy and therefore, math is fun. You could probably make your own homemade depictions of units, tens, etc that would do the job of teaching math but the fact that these click together makes them just that bit more sensible, useful and fun.

Base ten
I bought these as the original blocks helped me and the kids enormously to understand place value when I was training to be a teacher in the 1960's - then the blocks were made of wood - now of course they are plastic but just as suitable. I hope they will help my 12 year old grand-daughter understand decimals. The flats fit together to make a block. There is a clear manual with them which contains lesson plans.

Great product
Love that they interlock. Mainly used by my year 3 child (age 7) for home learning during the third lockdown, but useful for my reception age child too.

Great for helping kids with their maths
Expensive but great for helping one of my sons with his maths. He likes them as they are similar to the ones they use at school.

Poorly fitting blocks
I have so many learning resource products and would normally highly recommend them. However with this product it is so poorly made that the singles don't stack on the 10s and the 10s don't fit on the 100s as intended. It's a great idea poorly executed and at £30 I'm pretty disappointed. I would have bought a non branded set if I'd have know about the quality in advance.

This is a basic tool used in tutoring
This is a box of blue plastic cubes which can help in learning Base 10 arithmetic. My lady teaches mainly kids who have learning difficulties or who are high achievers; in either case, she uses Orton-Gillingham all-senses learning techniques to work with her students 1-to-1, and she finds this learning set invaluable. The box she received ALSO includes the workbook, which is very much appreciated. Delivery was quick. I would imagine most O-G tutors are already aware of what I've written here, so I'm actually reviewing the set for those parents who might be wondering whether they should go ahead and buy it. Yes; do.

Perfect for so many reasons!
These are perfect for my students to use for so many math concepts. I LOVE that the ones snap together to make a ten then the tens snap together to make a hundred. They are great for developing fine motor skills too!! Our OT said they are the perfect size, so she ordered some.
