I have these for the 8 gauge I'll be using them for. I also have similar for 6 gauge. What I really like about them is they keep the wire from spreading out. It you are Incerting them into a slot that requires being tightened down, they work very well.

These ferrules seem decent enough, i have a lousy crimp tool, and it destroys these.

Good quality, but it did not fit my 8 awg wire- Maybe if I stripped the jacket & only crimped the wire I might get it in but it def wouldnt go over the jacket... but that's my fault for not measuring- so if you're using it in a car audio application make sure to check the size of not just your wire but the jacket over the wire as well.

I used these ferrules with a Coleman 6/3 stranded 14-50 pigtail. I wanted to secure the connection points between the pigtail and Tesla Wall Connector. Putting stranded copper into one of those green terminal blocks seemed like a horrible idea from a safety standpoint. These ferrules worked perfectly. They fit snug and were simple to crimp.

Perfect for connecting the 8 AWG wires to my daughter's Rockford Fosgate Punch P300-12. Used red and black heat shrink wrap to hold in place instead of crimping and to hide the black plastic shroud for the positive wire. Durable and thick enough copper to protects the wires from damage when screws are tightened. I can easily replace if needed or damaged in the future without needing to cut and strip more of the wires.

They crimp on the 8 awg stranded wire okay but when you put these in a plug or a breaker and tighten the screw down tight on the ferrule it mashes down. If you use these on heavy wire and cable you really should dip the wire in a soldering Flux before putting the ferrule on and crimping it and then soldering the whole internal wire to the ferrule so it won't mash down and get distorted during the tightening process.

I use they're 4/8 gauge ferrules with AWG OFC without install problems. Easy for me to install and work perfect for taking in and out of applications. A must have for automotive audio enthusiast.

I used these to install an amp in a car. They looked very clean and kept the power and ground wires from fraying out of the connection lugs. Well recommended for amp installs.
