Update: The camera is very simple to use and my 4 year old loves it. He quickly figured out how to use it. It's very light and all one piece. I originally purchased this one after some reviews and reading that it was suitable for children 3 and up. When we received the item the box said 6 and up. While I still think this should be updated, the camera itself doesn't have anything that I could see as a choking hazard or anything. Good starter camera for preschool age kid. The manufacturer did reach out many times to see what they could do to fix the situation, however since it was a birthday present, I didn't have any answer on how it could be fixed. Due to the quality of the item and the customer service, I changed from one to five stars and would recommend this item.Original review: Cute and seems simple enough that my son will enjoy it. One star because the box states that it is not for children under 6. Though my son will be supervised while playing with it, as a consumer it irks me to no end when I go out of my way to search for something that is for a child, in a specific age group, and to have it explicitly state that it is made for children 3 and up on the listing, to then receive the item and it have completely different safety information. This listing needs to be revised and it should not be recommended by Amazon as a toddler camera if it's not intended for use by children that young.

Very affordable, instructions are somewhat difficult.

I bought this for a two-year-old and it was a perfect gift except that the viewfinder is fake. I have a camera with a viewfinder and so he tried to copy me and look through the window for over six months. It made for some interesting pictures! He finally figured out that you just look at the picture in the digital display and hit the button to take a photo. On the other side of the viewfinder is actually the light for flash, which my son adores. If you turn on the light, it just stays on.Concerning navigating the different functions of the camera, it takes a little playing around to figure it out, but it’s not too hard. My son’s give-year-old friend can figure it out just fine. If you upload music to the camera it can play music, but I haven’t bothered because it’s a camera. It has games which I wasn’t horribly thrilled about because, again, it’s supposed to just be a camera. I don’t want him to sit and play games on something that is meant to help get you interested in life around you.I haven’t tried offloading photos, yet.Also, the strap had a really cool detachable function, but that broke after a few months when my toddler was being a toddler. Absolutely brilliant little camera for little hands, easy to use, good pics and great for the price! Would recommend, granddaughter is only 2 and figured it out scarily fast

The camera itself is about what you'd expect for the price. Small, cute, very lightweight but pretty durable, simple to use, takes photos and video, but has practically no microphone. My 6 year old is more than happy with it though and loves that he can record videos as well as take pictures.I, however, am not too happy about the fact that the camera already had pictures saved on it. Other than the pictures, the camera seems to be in good as new shape so I won't be sending it back, but when a product is sold as new it should be new.

I liked that it looked more like a real camera than the bright kiddie cameras and it was on sale. I gave it to my great nephew for his birthday and it was definitely the favorite present! He loved it! The adults were impressed with the quality. My nephew said, "I've had cell phones that didn't take pictures this good!" Everyone asked if it was a real camera. Did it save the pics? Can you print them out? Yes! It is just like any digital camera in that way. Just like a grown up camera only tougher and simple for kids. Also I think the recommended age was 5 maybe. I read in the reviews that someone got one for their 3 year old that loved it and this was my great nephew's 2nd birthday. He didn't have a problem using it, once he was shown. So this 2 year old absolutely loved it and took photos with it the whole rest of his birthday party! This was a neat find, a great buy and an amazing and impressive birthday present! Highly recommend!
