Lovely non-toxic kettle
This kettle goes on the stove, does not need to be plugged in or batteries, and has no plastic parts in contact with the drink. The precise spout makes it easy to pour. It is a very mindful kettle. It is a joy to use. The supplier also seems super-nice and polite. I have bought others for my family members.

well made
thank you for your kind service i got mail from seller whether the product is arrived yesterday.fortunately I just got this morning from royal mail(THANK YOU FOR SAFE DELIVERY). when I got recipt from seller week ago, it saysmight takes a month for delivery! so I thought maybe it is good time for research for drip coffee before I use this kettle.I watched youtube, google and everything. even buy thermometer and drip decanter.I choose this simply because it is stainless / has lid / price(bicarb and citric acid is good to clean for stainless and you can use magic block at the end and your kettle will look brand new every time)thank you for your really kind e-mail! I really appreciate it.I didn't get it when I read it because I thought the kettle will come month later! but you are kind.one service japanese green tea bag come with the kettle. I quite like penguin paper clip as well! so cute!

Really does make a difference
I only bought this kettle to make hand-poured filter coffee because controlling the flow from the spout does matter. But I liked it so much that it's now taken over from my electric kettle for all-purpose use. I hadn't appreciated just how much difference the position of the spout and the angle of the handle would make. It looks good, too, and, unless this is my imagination, it doesn't seem to develop scale as fast as the electric kettle. I live in a very hard water area, and the filter in my water jug lasts a couple of weeks rather than a month, yet filtered water in the electric kettle furs it up faster than water straight from the tap in the Fino kettle. No idea why. Anyway, the Fino is a joy to use and very good value. If you're going to use an item several times a day, week in, week out, it might as well be a nice one.

Classy steel. Very nice design. Good, precise, pourer.
Very nice design.Classy, shiny, steel. Very pleased of the quality of the materials. And everything just fits well together.Very good pourer, the goose-neck spout is well designed. No dripping or spilling on the sides. Quite precise.Good grip, fits well into the hand. For me, it is kind of a tie with this other kettle: Hario 1 Litre kettle. They are both mad in Japan. The price is better on this one, though!Overall, I love it! :) And I would recommend it to a friend.

Great alternative to the Hario
This is a well made stainless steel kettle, with a consistent pour and at a great price. There isn't a huge amount of difference between this and the hario buono, but it is just that little bit cheaper. The only criticism would be that the lid could fit a little bit better, it does tend to have a small amount of play in it.

reasonably priced replacement for Hario.
Really awesome alternative to grab instead of Hario. Everyday at work, I use a Hario Buono made of copper (that would cost you $133) ... and there's really NO difference in comfort or the results. This kettle does really change your pouring comfort. It's not only good for V60, you can also use it to make high quality full-leaf teas and ... to pour water into your icecube trays! yeah!

a mazing ketttle. worth the wait!!! good quality
This is a really handy kettle for controlled pouring of hot (or cold) liquid, especially to make v60 or similar brewed coffee. I used to use an ordinary kettle but it was messy. This is well constructed and can be used directly on a hob. Only thing missing is a temperature guage but you can buy that separately. This is definitely worth every penny and more.

Well built, works perfectly, and cute! Update 7 years later. Lid thermometer info.
(See UPDATE below). This is well designed and works well. Made in Japan of obvious Japanese quality, well built of stainless steel, which though not heavy, presumably will be durable (see update below). It does the pour over perfectly. The handle is comfortable and does not get hot (the plastic knob on the lid gets a bit hot but you don't need to touch it). There is no plastic inside the kettle for water to contact (the plastic knob on the lid screws on). You can easily see steam coming out of the three little holes in the lid when the water reaches a boil. "Made in Japan" is printed on both the box and the kettle. The top comes loose when pouring, but this is not a problem--it will not come off unless you turn the kettle completely upside down, which is unnecessary to completely empty the kettle when doing a pour over. Meaning you can do the pour over without worrying about the lid coming off. Plus the thing is cute! It's a ridiculous (and cute) sight sitting on the stove. It's just what I wanted in terms of quality and function, and I can't see anything wrong with it.UPDATE: This is now 7 years later and I've been using this daily to boil water for pour over coffee all that time. It still works perfectly. No rust, no nuthin'. The one useful thing I did after buying it was to buy a lid with thermometer so I can see the water temperature to judge it just right for brewing coffee (just short of boiling, maybe 205 degrees). The lid also has worked fine all these years. It fits this kettle perfectly, although if the kettle is tipped too far when pouring, the lid will fall out. But I've found it's not necessary to tip it over that far even when pouring for a large mug. linkhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GBR3SZO?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_asin_image. Both kettle and lid were good purchases, and I would buy again if ever needed (assuming it's still made in Japan).
