Casdon 616 Little Hetty Toy Vacuum

My son is obsessed with our big Hetty cleaner so we were delighted when we found out about this toy version. We purchased it for Christmas and he played with it for +6 hours on Christmas day and he has barely spent more than an hour away from it. It looks genuine and is substantial enough. The concept of the plug and retractable cord is fantastic.Negative points?The power switch rattles and makes half the noise when it is running. It would be better if the fake switches on the top actually moved rather than being fixed mouldings.The tube is too flimsy and doesn't rotate easily enough so it gets tangled (he doesn't like that) and I suspect it will be the first thing to fail.It doesn't seem to has much suction, I have seen demos of other toy vacuum cleaners that have better suction.Despite these negative points I have to give it 5 stars because my son is so obsessed.

Bought for my son's 3rd birthday as he has an obsession with our real Henry hoover. He absolutely loves this mini Hetty (who is now Henry's friend). It takes up much less room than Henry did and is much easier for him to use! Some reviews have said that the quality is bad but I don't agree, it has stood up to some heavy use over the last couple of weeks with nothing broken yet although obviously it's not the same quality as the life size version. All the bits fit under the lid, along with a little dustpan and brush and the added bonus is that it picks up small bits of debris, so my son can put his hours of vacuuming to some use! But be aware it has minimal suction and doesn't actually pick much up before thinking this might be a cheap alternative to the real thing!!

My daughter absolutely loves this, the pull out wire and "plug" suction cup makes it seem more realistic, although the length of the cord is quite short, I assume for safety reasons. I was under the impression that it was supposed to have a degree of suction when switched on, however the one I received doesn't have any suction at all, I actually prefer that it doesn't as it means that it isn't constantly filled with dust. The sound is fairly realistic and the product is extremely sturdy, and the fact that the accessories stre away inside the unit is a nice touch. Far better quality than other brands I have previously purchased. Over all good quality for money, I would definitely recommend

This is a brilliant toy, very well made & looks like the real Henry vacumn just small & lighter for child to be able to move & play with. The collection tray is ideal for making sure we find all that gets vacumed up, it is realistic when turned on & any child who loves playing house etc would love this.It's suction seems so powerful, I've even considered buying one as a kind of dustbuster for myself as I have weak arms!!

So cute! Looks exactly like the real hetty Hoover, bought this for my 2 year old daughters birthday and she uses it when I use mine and she loves it! Well worth the money! Easy to store! Suction does work but isn’t extremely powerful but does suck up fine bits. Perfect for a toddler!

I was very excited to purchase this item for my daughter as a Christmas present. She just loves my full size Hetty and my expectations for this miniature version were quite high.The packaging of the product was perfect. It looked very high quality, was not too big and in a very neat box ideal for wrapping!Before wrapping the item I had a good look at all the parts that came with it. I was pleasantly surprised with some of the little extra bits that were included e.g a little dust pan and brush and also by the way everything fitter very neatly inside the main unit. Everything looked present and correct.My daughter loved it as soon as she opened it. She began to play and was very excited to see that it could actually vacume up little pieces. Very soon the hose part became unattached from the main unit. It is held in with a simple twist mechanism. This continued to happen and there was no way to make it any more secure.Within a very short period of time, kinks began to appear in the hose and I realised it could be crushed with very little effort ( not ideal for young children) . The items has continued to function adequately, although the hose is now a little bent and crushed in places and still continues to fall off without much persuasion.My daughter does not seem to mind this however and continues to play with this item regularly.My main comment for anyone looking to purchase this item would be, just because it looks like a perfect replica of the full size version, do not expect the quality of top brand product. However, the purpose of this was to entertain my daughter which it has done and continues to do 5 months on so all in all a reasonable product.

My initial review was : "Sooo disappointed, not only that is tiny is it came incomplete!!! Do not buy as your child will cry his eyes out to see he has not received a complete vacuum...I'll attach the photo so you can understand" but I have to say, the company was very good in sending a new one ! This is a toy vacuum cleaner, for grandaughter Xmas present. It looks just as described, all tools are on board under the lid. I love it.
