Easy install and working fine.
This is the second battery for our Dyson V6. The Dyson is pretty beat up from a lot of use, so this is probably the last time I'll replace the battery. It is a bit hard to plug in the charger but it works fine. The battery does not last as long as I hoped, but this thing has seen a lot of use, so maybe the motors are worn out.

New vacuum feel
My old Dyson V6 Animal became my spare downstairs vacuum as the battery life started to decline. I bought a new vortex part from Dyson … but the battery was $$$ and felt like a lot to spend. I bought this battery (which came with the 2 replacement filters) and it works perfectly! Increased battery life and suction. Super happy (but if anyone has tips on installing the “other” filter without breaking the plastic, lmk. Not as easy to pry off that back piece as YouTube suggests)…

This battery will not last more than 3 to 4 minutes.I am going to need to reorder a new battery.

Major upgrade for my older Dyson DC 59!
My Dyson is just over eight years old, and had served me very well, but was lying unused for the last two years because the battery wouldn’t take a charge. I finally got off my butt to refurb it and I ordered this kit. This replacement battery is nearly 3 times the amp hour rating of the original equipment, and the difference in runtime is very noticeable! Just a brief heads up, this kit also comes with the exhaust HEPA filter that my older Dyson does not take, but you can order the replacement exhaust port for your older model so that it will take this filter. The piece was about $13 and is available here on Amazon, and with the help of a YouTube video installed in a few minutes and then the HEPA filter just twists and clicks on! Total cost of this kit and the replacement filter port was around $50, and my Dyson works better than new. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
