Quality is so-so
Good value, BUT I had to use a die to chase the stud thread in the cabinet. One stud wasn't welded too well. There were also gaps in the door gasket, not making it very weather resistant. There are other sellers on Amazon with better quality cabinets that look just like this one.

Pretty good box but lock is very poor
Lock broke by itself and can be opened with anything. Otherwise its a really nice box

Well Made
This is very well made and a good size. The safety lock works perfectly and the door moves smoothly and closes tight. It is easy to install and comes at a great value!

Interesting Junction box, not standard electrical equiptment
Have to be honest in these Vine reviews, while I want to love every item this one was not my favorite. I am a journeyman electrician in the US and have not seen this style of box before.Pros:Metal seems sturdy to me, the backplate for mounting is nice but I am not sure exactly what kind of equipment they intend to mount to the rear plate. Lots of space. Finish appears durable and all the screws and hardware are included. Can also be locked.Cons:The latch hardware and design seem flimsy and not very waterproof I am not certain it will hold up and not just rust closed. There are not any standard knockouts for entrance cables. I am used to seeing boxes with 1/2 3/4 and even 1 inch knockouts. If you plan to run line voltage into this box you will need to drill your own. The provided access is through an approx. 2x4 inch screw out entrance window on the bottom of the unit. I don't see how that can be easily sealed. The seal around the door is 4 pieces of attached door like rubberized material that is not cut well. I am not certain it will repel water like the boxes that overlap the door over the enclosure or that it will remain attached over time.I can only recommend this enclosure for indoor applications where you are not running conduit or MC NM cable types. It may have a place in shops or distribution applications but not as user friendly for electrical applications in comparison with the standard names in the industry.
