Bought this for my laptop (a 17-inch 2-in-1). Laptop dimensions are 41cm x 27.5cm. Barely fits but suitable. Cannot comment on durability and comfort just yet as arrived today, looks sturdy and I trust the brand. Will keep this review updated, happy to answer questions. You may consider the bag to be 48cm x 32cm at the extreme edges without stretching and without side compartments. Keep in mind it's not a square shape but greatly arched on top.

She has held up like a charm, still water resistant, hefty as ever, no holes, and zippers work like they did when she was young. I have never been so in love with a bag. She has so many pockets for my belongings and is great for college supply loads. She has somewhere for an iPad, and laptop, and I can even fit my gaming laptop and school computer in with no complaints from her. A little of the inner rubber lining is coming off but there is no obvious wear and tear on the structural materials of the bag. All straps and buckles still work like a charm. The attached photos are from 2023.Pre-COVID 2020 thoughts:Very nice, but this doesn’t hold as much as I wish it would and the reflective brand name wore off pretty quick. After having my last Jansport backpack for about 12 years, I was hoping for something a little better since the zippers started giving out at the 5th year, this I think is it though it hasn’t been long. Another complaint to add is the chest strap isn’t that durable and does like to pop when you tighten it a bit too far. Beside that, very nice material and quality. I like how many pockets it has, but not how small all of them are. The built-in pencil bag is very useful and then side straps are nice when you have a smaller load and want to reduce the wear on your spine. The zippers Grips are also made out of simple strings, making the knots come undone and very easy to lose the grips on the zippers2024 update(5yrs):everything with the backpack is perfect except now the inner waterproof lining is dry-rotting out so the material is now thinner and there are black-brown glue flakes all in the bottom of the bag pockets.Summary:I have now compared her to a Swiss gear heavy duty beat, and she is just so much lighter. She is not ripping like the Swiss and she was half the price. She always zips and let’s go of jams. I have fragments of pencil bag stuck in the Swiss. Go with Jansport. Not the canvas bags but the nicer ones. It’s worth it. I was just sad to lose my 10-year-old Jansport when I wrote the review in 2020. The 10year bag did not even have strappy straps. I was being greedy.

I had a similar backpack to this that lasted me 10 years before I had to replace it. The zippers finally gave out. Good quality bags for everyday toting around. Lots of space for everything I want to carry.If this one lasts for 10 years like the last it will be money well spent, great value. Very versatile. Durable material for everyday use.
