Works well.
used this to build a near silent extractor fan to draw hot air out of the conservatory and into the house.Have paired it with a 12v temperature controller, kicks in when it reaches 28degrees, and the fan draws warm air from the top of the conservatory into the lounge, warming up the house. On very sunny days, It seems to draw enough air to keep the temperature in the conservatory from skyrocketing, and on normal days, it quickly brings the conservatory back down to 25 and the controller clicks it off.

Expensive, but so quiet its worth every penny.
The most expensive fan I have ever purchased, however I needed something silent and reliable.I have used this to draw warm air from my AV cabinet, this fan is silent at the full 12v, but i have changed the plug to run it from a set-top box USB socket. There is NO motor noise, you can only hear a faint noise of the air moving when holding up to your ear.The Good:- The build quality is very good.- 'Silent' and good airflow.- Bundled adapters to reduce speed if required.- Starts at under 5V- Comes with screws for a grill and some rubber mounting gromit things that work exceptionally well for what they are.The Bad:- Colour is not to everyones taste.- They spent too much on the box.- Price.

Good Fans, No rubber anti vibration pads
Good fans, limited them to 900RPM with 7 in my case moves a loads of air at very quiet volume.I hear coil whine of my RX 6950XT Over them.I become a real FAN of Noctua in the last 5 years that all my builds contain them. This is the "budget" fan but still a goodie.

Well, Noctua.
Bought to replace the main fan in my eGPU. It replaced the original Razer (generic). Took out because it was dead silent, also it wasn’t providing the performance I needed. Replaced with a PST fan. Now using it as a boost for my fanless nuc case.P.S. It can be used with a USB to 4 pin adapter for special usage cases, as it starts at 5V even if its rated 12V

Decent quality fan.
Definitely a high quality item. The adapters to reduce the speed are a welcome addition. I hoped it would create a bit more pressure than it does, but it works quietly and probably will last a decent length of time.

Enjoy The Silence
I'm currently running two of these fans on my Noctua NH-U12P SE2 CPU cooler (they were included in the box, which is tremendous value). Even running at full speed, they're amazingly quiet. Build quality is excellent and the supplied cables will cover you for anything you need.Yesterday, I installed a few spare Antec fans in the various other holes in my Coolermaster 830 and couldn't believe the noise.......so I replaced two of them with some spare Thermaltake ones I had lying around, which will do for the time being. Looks like I'll be buying another four NF-P12s in the near future though! And to the people that complain about the Noctua brands colours of choice.....I think they look lovely!!

Noctua NF-P12
It's a really good fan, I think the blue connector was the lowest rpm setting, black connecter medium and the converter for molex was full speed. I tested them all and decided for full speed and you can't really hear the fan which is exactly what I bought it for since my last fans are what come with a Antec P182 case and they make a bit of noise at full speed. I've ordered also 2 NF-SB12 fans so I hope they turn out as good as the NF-P12. The one thing that made the most noise in my case is the graphics card I have, HD 4850. I have also bought a cooler called Arctic Accelero Twin Turbo Pro and since using it on the card the noise has dropped tremendously. I wish I could of bought a Thermalright TY-140 but I dont think it would of fit in my case so the Noctua NF-P12 will have to do. :) Don't be scared, it's worth buying it. :) Delivery took about 5 days but it was worth it! :)

A lot more for less
I purchased two of these fans for my Fractal design Define R3 case. I can run these fans at half the voltage I was running the stock fans at, and get better temps at the same time. Needless to say, my PC is quieter than having my fans running at full speed. Under normal noise conditions, I can barely hear the fans. They are however, audible when I have silent conditions in my room. Nothing annoyingly loud however, but audible just the same. I doubt you can shift this amount of air without having some kind of noise, so I see this as a trade off. I have mine on at around 6-7 volts, so I can shift plenty of air, and have them relatively quiet. A fair trade off in my opinion. I could have them more silent by lowering the voltage, using my fan controller, but am enjoying the lower temps far too much. Yes, they are a little on the pricey side, but I still recommend them.
