Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless Steel Rectangular Roaster, 35 cm, Silver, 96102270000000

This sat in my 'Saved for later' list for ages before self control and reason waned enough for me to finally order it. To my surprise it arrived (to France from UK) in just its own box (single skin cardboard), not a box within a box as normal with Amazon. The flap to open the box wasn't even taped down. I opened it anticipating having to return it damaged (at this money it needed to be perfect).I needn't have worried, it was in perfect condition, evidence of just how solid it is.It is a very solid, obviously high quality product. It cooks fantastically, it's a doddle to wash up and I have also used with no problems at all on my induction hob. It arrives with a mirror like finish which you will lose as you start to use it and wash it (as with the 3 Ply pans etc).As an observation rather than a criticism, check the size of it, it might be smaller than you expect. Personally I'd highly recommend this and any of the Le Crueset 3 Ply range, top quality and they all work with induction hobs so future proof too.

Sad though it seems, this dish makes me happy every Sunday when I make perfect gravy from my Sunday roast, a thing that was impossible on the induction hob before I bought it. And a year in, it still looks as good as new. A really high quality product.

We bought this tray and rack two years ago and since then, it has been my "go to" whenever I do a roast.ProsSturdy, reliable, easy to clean, aesthetically pleasing, great brand supportConsI wish it had a lid, a bit heavy, priceConclusionI would not do without it and with the warranty, I hope I never have to.This would make an excellent wedding gift or just a really nice gift to someone you liked a lot or yourself.

Having bought le creuset before I can justify this price tag. I expect it to last my lifetime so will save money in the long run. Buy cheap buy twice! I have had le creuset pans for years and have no doubt this will be with me for the long haul too. Its sturdy, practical and well made. Perfect for roasting meat and then transferring directly to the hob to make gravy with the juices. Perfect roast potatoes too. Good size. Highly recommend for serious cooks.

Love the saucepans from this range and wanted an absolutely flat bottomed roaster to go on the hob.Unfortunately the bottom is very slightly raised, so the edge contacts the hob but the rest doesn't.I'm sure it would have worked but if I tried it I wouldn't be able to return, which I did as for this price I want to be absolutely happy. I can't see the point of this in the design, I can understand it for thin stainless sheet metal roasters because they need the strength but this surely doesn't.I did want to keep it, it's a good size - large but not too big for the oven.Shame.Update.....I couldn't resist buying it another time after all and it works fine on my induction hob for gravy - a key feature. Rock solid. After a few years the surface isn't as mirror like, but not far off. As with other 3-ply the middle aluminium layer gets corroded in the dishwasher around the edge.I love it but it is large so I don't use it as often as I used to.If you want a fully flat bottom one take a look at John Lewis, but this works fine on my hob. I dropped the star for the ever so slightly raised bottom.

In my opinion, Le Creuset are the benchmark in quality kitchen ware. Stylish stainless steel which is dishwasher safe gives it durability & longevity, which Le Creuset back up with a life time guarantee. Not cheap but I reckon this pan will see me out. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I finally got sick of my warped (even though it said it would not) roaster and decided to splash out on this. It certainly was not cheap and so I did hesitate and hunt around for a good price. Glad I did as I absolutely LOVE it. I have a particular dish I specifically brought it for which needs to start out on the induction hob and then end up in the oven - hence my old warped one presenting me with a bit of a challenge. It has also been used, with the rack I purchased separately, for roasting. It's an absolute pleasure to use and I love it so much I actually wash it by hand, causing the boyfriend to look at me like I had lost the plot. Then handles are a nice and practical touch to what is proving to be a very good investment.

Took the plunge and paid top dollar for this roasting tin. Whilst ultimately not quite big enough for an Xmas turkey, this is used every week and I am sure it will be more than up to the job as the quality is genuinely top class, with a reassuring weight to the pan and the handles. I love it. Useful knurled edge around the pan for pouring, handles a good size and usefully positioned (small things...).Also have the additional rack which works a treat, although a shame that isn't stainless steel rather than the black finish.Great product, a life-time quality purchase without a doubt, only downside it was £20 cheaper three days later - stay sharp and shop around.
