Essential part of home first aid now
These are amazing to help control those minor bleeds, like from nicks with a kitchen knife. So helpful to get them to quickly stop bleeding and they adhere just as you’d hope. Great for awkward places and even for keeping plasters on too. Now a permanent fixture in my quick access home first aid kit.

Great product.
My daughter is extremely accident prone, so we're constantly having to use various different dressings to cover the variety of wounds she acquires. Where she was recently savaged by an escaped Lynx, we ended up with a problem. The hospital didn't consider the wounds deep enough to require stitches but I wasn't happy about leaving them open and undressed. Most of the items that we had around the house were just unsuitable to close the lacerations and aid in healing. So, I bought some butterfly plasters (which are excellent by the way), and these strips which served admirably for some of the more awkward slashes. These are quite long - as shown in the product photograph, but they can be cut to size for different cuts and lacerations. There is no dressing or other material which may become lodged in the wound, so no worries about further infection from contaminated dressing, or ugly scabs with chunks of dressing embedded in them. They are sticky enough to hold the skin and survive sweat and light wetting quite well. They are great for holding wounds closed in difficult areas and in places where there is movement, such as long muscles and joints. These, I feel, helped accelerate healing by holding the wounds closed allowing the natural healing process to close her lacerations.Excellent product, and I have no idea why three local pharmacists don't have anything like this, or the butterfly plasters in stock.

Work great
I recently had my gallbladder removed and they closed my wounds with surgical glue. The wound around my belly button was obviously not held closed when the glue was applied because the glue and dried inside the wound which meant that the wound couldn’t heal. I was able to remove the glue and use these strips to hold my wound together and they work really well. I was able to shower and they still stayed attached until I removed then a week later. I love that they come in several sealed strips so that the whole pack doesn’t dry up once you open them.Would definitely buy these again.

A stitch in time!!
Hi. These little things kept a very nasty deeeep! stab wound on my hand (fillet knife) closed while I headed to A&E. They removed the strips cleaned the wound and put the same thing on again. The strips don't like dirty hands so eventually I wore them under a sterile dressing and a glove. This was a really bad wound and they held things together till it healed. Magic!

Does the trick
This is handy (excuse the pun) for me to keep in the house as my partner does diy and has had the odd accident, good if a bad cut but not bad enugh for A and E, plus with the long wait times at A and E a good measure until you can be attended to. Similar to the butterfly stitches they apply in A and E.
