This double kick pedal set is an excellent value for the price! You won't find a better set at this price point.If you are a beginner to intermediate player, this is an excellent setup.However, you will need to make some adjustments to get the left pedal working with the same amount of pressure as the right foot.Upon receiving this set, I put it together and noticed I had to push harder with my left foot. This is because the right foot is only working against the resistance of 1 spring, whereas the left foot is working against 2 springs (left pedal + left beater). To remedy this, adjust the left beater as shown in the photo above. You'll need to loosen the screw on the left side of the left beater, and rotate the left beater 2-3 clicks ahead of the right beater. This allows the left foot and right foot an equal amount of resistance and pressure to get the beaters to arrive at the bass drum at the same time.After making this small adjustment I was able to consistently use both feet to apply the same amount of pressure and made my double kicks nice and consistent.I'm in love with this pedal set. Can't say enough good things about the quality and sound for the price. One small adjustment and you'll love this set too!

Cheap double kick that works fairly well.

Mechanically good no creaking and works well overall. Nothing crazy quality and the beaters a little glue stained but hey $70 can’t beat it

I just received the pedal and noticed that one beater is loose. No way to tighten it. The other pedal is sticky... as in it doesn't bounce back as it should. I am new to drumming so It may be something easy....but no info on how to adjust it from Ktaxon website or anything.

By no means am I a double bass master. I have played on doubles that are 5 times or plus the cost, and I prefer the feel of these much better. So far they seem to be nicely constructed, double chain, solid metal boards, and the beaters although are felt are very dense. They supply a nice solid and heavy response from a bass drum. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Bought these for my 12 yr oldDrummer .. nice pedals pretty sturdy but heavy and sluggish she has a hard time getting quick beats with these compared to other double bass setups . The quality is decent I would recommend these more for an adult who’s getting into double bass as these are much to heavy and clunky for younger drummers
