Does the job and large enough to keep the ears warm

Very warm, like the fact the hat more than covers your ears, sits nice and low around the back of your neck.

My partner opened the callaway beanie to realise the inside was ripped

For a One Size hat. It is a very tight fit and even my wife used it who is of a small frame said it was rather tight.
