What a process to disassemble. I found what I suspected the gear on the worm shaft was in pieces. I installed both new gears provided, both gears fit and it works like a charm now.

These gears fit perfect and my mirror works like a charm again

Leaving a 3 star because only the large gear will work. With the small metal gear the motor won’t rotate. Took me almost a day and multiple assemble and disassemble to finally figure out. If you’re replace only use the large gear by itself or just buy the single gear kit.

My wife's 2016 Hyundai Azera's passenger side mirror stopped retracting when locked. I could hear the motor run, so I knew the gears were shot. Ordered these to repair it...they arrived quickly.I finally got around to removing the mirror and disassembling it...yes, the large gear was broken...the smaller one looked ok, but I decided to replace it since I was already in there...Reassembled the mirror and installed it...it didn't work...and, I could not hear the motor running.After disassembling, checking and reassembling many times without any luck, I finally decided to look at the gears...the large one appeared to be an exact replacement, but the smaller one had more teeth on the gear that engaged with the motor worm gear. I replaced it with the original gear since it looked to be in good shape...and the mirror worked as expected.I suggest that the gears be inspected closely to ensure they are the same...it would have saved me quite a few hours...I'd have given five stars if both gears were direct replacements for the Hyundai Azera...Matt

Just replaced the parts included in this kit. Mirror is working like it suppose to. Dealership wanted $400 for repairs. Easy to repair.
